The servants are given remarkably generous pensions. Elizabeth offered to take them all on, but they refused. The last anyone saw of the trio were the eddies in the wake of a ship leaving from England.

Edward doesn't marry, remaining a Knight of the Realm and becoming a known patron of the arts, especially music. Sieglinde goes to medical school. Soma moves in part-time with Sieglinde and Wolf; no one knows what he does with the rest of his time, and though he comes back with dark circles beneath steely eyes and the faint smell of something hovering over him, Wolf knows enough not to ask.

Darkness, even when lifted, begets darkness of a different sort.

Sebastian briefly forgetting to censor her/their genderfluidness, sighing and holding her head in front of the servants latest disaster: *Sigh* What's a lady to do with this mess... 😞💨

The first months Bardroy is at the manor not only does he very quickly pick up a British Accent, but going out to drink constantly on trips to town when allowed (though frowned upon to do so much) leads to him slinging around all the British slang and curses at the time.

Both Sebastian and Mey Rin are especially the ones ruffled by this. (see what I did there wink)

And soon Bard's hard earned pay is disappearing and also Sebastian is becoming extra aggressively bossy.

The day comes when Finny is even asking him about some of these phrases "Mr. Sebastian never taught Mey and I those!! ...Though I have a feelin' Mey knows what they are but won't answer my questions about it.."

Suddenly Sebastian is there to keep him from saying more or Bard from answering, and the rest of that day is very touchy for the chef...

It has been 140 days since the Kuroshitsuji hiatus was announced.

While sharing a bed with Agni and Sebastian, Mey Rin ended up stealing all the covers in her sleep. However, she looked so cute nestled in her blanket cocoon that neither the khansama nor the demon could find it in their heart to object. Since Sebastian's inner hellfire endows him with a higher body temperature than most humans, the loss was easily compensated for, and Agni had no trouble keeping warm.

It has been 136 days since the Kuroshitsuji hiatus was announced.

As dusk fell, Sebastian, Agni, Wolfram, Hannah, and Claude assembled their wards into a party to go trick-or-treating at the local villages. Naturally, the rest of the Phantomhive household, as well as the Midfords, also joined in the fun!
