Thinking about how much faith Phil must’ve had in Dan and their relationship to re-closet himself after probably having a very liberating gay experience in uni. Like to go back in the closet after that, for a guy who is so deeply closeted and nowhere near figuring his shit out. And not just for a while for 10 whole years.

We always appreciate how much Dan loves Phil, but man Phil must love Dan so much to commit to pretending to be straight for a decade, just so Dan could have the space to come out on his own terms.
