Someone described Laena's tv death as "all style and no substance" and they're so right for saying it.

That's what makes me upset. It was all rushed, the editing was poor, the reactions underwhelming, the dialogue too brief and barely detailed...just a whole big disaster.

I can appreciate the payoff (seeing Vhagar emote and the extent of the bond between dragon and rider). But the execution of what led to that moment was the problem, not to mention they cut scenes from after the incident as well with Daemon and the kids.

If we're going to have any more book! death scene changes, the writers should at least focus on quality.
