You’re either “I’m thankful for Tumblr” or “I hope this site burns in hell.” And if you’ve been here long enough you’ve evolved into a bitter combination of the two and there’s no in between.

Petition to have Tumblr actually do something about porn blog bots following users.

• It’s annoying. • It gives an imperfect metric for how many followers you have. (I would estimate about 25% of my “followers” are porn blogs run by bots). • It makes pulling up your activity page iffy even if you use Tumblr strictly for SFW content. • It’s problematic for individuals who have struggled with sex and/or pornography addictions, especially since many of the blog names are not obviously porn names, causing you to preview the blog. • It exposes minors to illegal and harmful content.

And to many of us: • It’s disgusting. • it’s degrading to human beings, especially women. • It makes Tumblr a less classy, less reputable place.

okay jsyk tumblr has started playing video ads even if you have adblock. and easy way to fix this is go up to the tumblr tab, right click, and click mute tab.

tumblr mobile can’t load images but it sure can load battlecamp ads pretty quick

why are 90% of urls attached to popular text posts deactivated?  is someone picking them off, assassin style, or have these users won their freedom from this website, gladiator style

if you press and hold the tag it should give you the option to either search all of tumblr or just that blog

So Tumblr mobile just had a small but inexplicable update. I like looking at my activity on mobile because I can scroll through really fast and spot new mentions, new messages, and, especially, reblogs where someone has added new text. The latter are easiest to spot because in addition to being larger, there’s a vertical line on the left side that runs along the edge of the new text. Super easy to spot scrolling through at light speed. The latest update got rid of the line.
