From the pamphlet of the voice actor live event that took place when they were promoting the first season of "Osomatsu-san." I do not believe that a copy of this pamphlet is being produced for sale anymore.

Karamatsu's voice, Nakamura Yuuichi PROFILE: Born February 20th in Kagawa. Affiliated with Sigma Seven. Main roles in such works as "Owari no Seraph Nagoya Kessen-hen" (as Ichinose Guren), "K RETURN OF KINGS" (as Kamamoto Rikio), "ONE-PUNCH MAN" (as Mumen Rider), "Shinmai Maou no Testament BURST" (as Toujou Basara), etc.

After being decided as the role for Karamatsu... Even though the sextuplets were to have different personalities, I was unsure at first about how much differently I was supposed to act from the other five. Once post-recording started, however, as well as through the power of the screenplay and the dialogue, Karamatsu's position in the group became naturally clear to me. I grew able to enjoy that individual uniqueness.   His intentions from here on... The contents are pretty horrible (laughs), but the staff involved are very aware of their responsibility and take their work seriously, so I would be happy if you could feel "the playtime of serious adults" from it. We also wish that everyone enjoy the series while enjoying it for ourselves.

Oh, this subtitle is wrong. It’s supposed to be “the carnivorous meat who eats his meat wrapped in more meat.” The joke is that he’s just a piece of meat. (That’s why I always call him Karameatsu)

Some things from Osomatsu radio #3 (guest: Nakamura Yuichi)  ● The episode when Hatabo stuck flags up their rear ends: Jyushimatsu was specifically ordered to say “Yoishooo!!” by the director. The director leaves most of the voice acting decisions to the voice actors, but whenever the subject turns into a pervy one, he jumps right in and directs specific things. ● Ichimatsu’s scream was adlibbed by Fukuyama Jun, most likely because in his official character establishment it was written “Ichimatsu is actually a masochist.” ● Jyushimatsu is probably the most popular among the brothers and Ono Daisuke knows it (he's happy about it). That's why, whenever Suzumura Kenichi watches OnoD happily recording for Jyushimatsu, Suzuken says that he feels a trace of irritation. It reminds them of a cat who acts like it's cute and it knows it. Jyushimatsu is Suzuken's favorite. ● The French President in episode 6 (”Je t’aime~”) wasn't listed in the credits, but he is voiced by Horiuchi Kenyuu. Horiuchi also voiced the narrator who said "That horse is a centaur!!" in the same episode.   ● Karamatsu's role (since Osomatsu-san is a comedy skit) is to appear just for laughs. This is easy for Nakamura. He doesn't speak as much as the others but gets the same pay. ● Nakamura prefers apples over pears. ● Among the voice actors, Irino Miyu is the one who gets treated like Karamatsu. He and Kamiya Hiroshi get along really well and they also are assigned seating next to each other in post-recording. One day Irino was wearing a nice knit hat that you're supposed to only wear up to your ears, but Kamiyan snatched it off and wore it for himself, pulling it over his entire face down to his collarbone and by the time Irino got it back, it was floppy. Later, someone threw the hat across the room and it got caught in someone's leg, and it skid across the floor. ● Irino, Nakamura, and Suzuken can't help bursting into laughter during post-recording (in front of the mics) so they usually have to pause it so they can compose themselves first. (Nakamura usually is pretty stoic) But in Nakamura's case, when they pause, the directing staff replays the last line on speaker so Nakamura can get his cue and it's that last line that made him laugh in the first place, so he starts laughing again. Osomatsu-san is the first series where he seriously wished he could record on his own, without the others, so he could get actual work done. The way Karamatsu is treated too, he finds hilarious. ● Nakamura thanks everyone for watching Osomatsu-san and says, "It probably doesn't make sense to you when you're watching it, but it doesn't make sense to us either. Even when I'm watching the broadcast on TV, when it's finished I'm like 'Oh, I see. I don't get it.'" Nakamura personally thinks that the plot ideas come to the director/staff at around 4 in the morning after a night of drinking. ● The radio's next guest for next month is Saito Momoko, voice of Hatabo.
