I cannot express what an insane recipe that is. No one else could grasp it either
Like beeswax doesn't. It kinda just stays as beeswax in the soap. The lye has nowhere to go with it. That liquid seeping out of the soap? The brown and clear drops?? That's lye. That's straight up lye. This mf made the soap equivalent of the Chernobyl elephants foot.
Quick reminder that if you touch lye with your bare hands, it will react with the fatty oils on and in your skin to create soap molecules.
That means it will give you chemical burns while creating human soap.
OP’s comment about the soap equivalent of a Chernobyl elephant’s foot is on point.
Lye (aka sodium hydroxide) turns hydrocarbons/fats into soap.
You are a hydrocarbon.
Please be careful when making soap, because You are a thing that could be used to make soap. And nobody wants to bathe in human soap, no matter how much rosemary you put in it.

depends A LOT of what other homework I had/what tests were coming up/other responsibilities.
these things don't happen in a vacuum so scheduling them even though I was good at papers and had A System meant that a lot of my decisions were made depending on additional factors.
also what KIND of paper because I was best at research papers and had that process streamlined but literature analysis, for example, was a different process and took different organization and timing.
so yeah it varied a lot.
I didn't prefer to wait til the last minute but sometimes the schedule for all the other work and tests meant I did, but with research papers again I had things very efficient and it wasn't as big a deal.
#one of the things that drove me nuts in both ha AND college was the part where instructors#alway ALWAYS acted like their assignments were all you had#and Time Management just meant not partying til the day before things were due#instead of actually making room for other papers and doing laundry and stuff#and I didn't even have a job in school idk HOW kids with jobs managed anything#that said still don't use chatgpt to write your papers kids

#see this is why there's something to be said for clueless cats#clever and determined cats can be very rewarding but they take more effort#the splochty crisis kitten cannot commit many crimes because he has 0 brain cells#the giant baby cat couldn't commit many crimes because he had 3 brain cells#sister's cat is very smart and has committed MANY crimes#my little orange monster cat was smart but committed no crimes because he Couldn't Be Bothered#which is also a very good kind if cat to have#the splochty crisis kitten absolutely WOULD commit crimes though if his skull had room for more than his large eyes#which means I'm concerned for his full grown status when he gets there as if his skull ever matches the rest of him#he may get enough brains for Crime and he has the will and the ability#but at the moment he is very stupid and easily thearted

#multiple pets with arguably different favorite people#it's hard to be definitive on wee bean but mum is her person#the splochty crisis kitten likes me best#alas.#but I would say these specific cats have weak favoritism#mummy izzy cat for example adored her specifically and clearly#and the giant baby cat was the same with me#they had strong favoritism#whereas my little orange monster cat didn't particularly like anyone#sister's cat loves sister best but could be won over under the right circumstances#(she likes me vest briefly but shhhh we don't talk about that near sister)#(sister's cat lived us for like four years when sister moved home for that time but sister took her when she moved out)#in general though cats prefer the people who pay them the most respectful attention#if you meet their emotional and social needs and are attentive they usually like you#unless it's my little orange monster cat of course because cats are luke people and you can't really make too many generalizations

this is way more what I was expecting and yes I gave both cats the same colors, idk why the splochty crisis kitten's came out the way it did. Don't get me wrong I think I like his better in composition, but Wee Bean's colors are fun.
anyway I intend to do more art with the cats occasionally, mostly as enrichment for me as the process I use for them is indistinguishable from normal play but at the very least I have two paintings done by these cats.
