LAST BOOK: The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. this always seems to be my answer, but it's also always true because I am constantly rereading this. Or The Dark Interval: Letters on Loss, Grief, and Transformation by Rainer Maria Rilke. And a bunch of my favorite children's books! Last book that wasn't a re-read was Parents as Partners in Play Therapy by Paris Goodyear-Brown.

LAST MOVIE: Fight the Future!! Which no one would know from the state of my blog. Next movie is going to be Wicked 👀

LAST TV SHOW: Castle. Oh how I've missed my girl 😭

SWEET/SPICY/SAVORY: I'm such a sweets person! When we celebrated my graduation in supervision a couple years ago, my supervisor commented that she hadn't mean to just bring desserts, but desserts kept coming to mind for me.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS: whAT's a GIrL? I got a movie I wanna watch on tv.

LAST THING I GOOGLED: "oh the places you'll go cover" lmaoooo

CURRENT OBSESSION: the way scully says "had you big time" and mulder pulls back to look at her with a stupid grin on his face and she smiles at him with literal heart eyes and how the world is literally crashing down around them and they can't be bothered to stop flirting for .2 seconds

LOOKING FORWARD TO: feeling better (i'm still sick 😭) and continuing my watch! I have a strong suspicion that season 6 is going to be my favorite.

bestie thank you for asking me!! (i know this is like a month old, it made me happy knowing it was here and i wanted to take time to answer lol)

i was thinking about this a lot yesterday as I wrote my first fic because i kept laughing, thinking "of course this is what I write about" given my own personal attachment to jewelry. in fact, the song I titled the fic after ("Mine" by Phoebe Ryan) kind of speaks to why I love jewelry so much.

the main point of it is that all my day-to-day jewelry is symbolic! in some ways, it started because I always loved the idea of tattoos, but I'm pretty indecisive to begin with (and my grandparents don't like tattoos, which doesn't mean I won't ever get a tattoo but there was never a tattoo I felt strongly about getting right this moment). I really liked the idea of having tangible reminders of things so I could look at my rings or bracelets or put my hand over my necklace and be reminded of whatever the jewelry was symbolizing. it also has some significance to how I've grown and changed over time.

okay for context I watched Detour last night so I've seen up to that (5x04)!

"Fire" is one of my favorites (I hate Phoebe, but jealousy is one of my favorite emotions to watch lmao), so "War of the Coprophages" and "Syzygy" as well. Those are probably the ones I'd rewatch more easily because they're more lighthearted.

"Pusher" and "Wetwired" were definitely two of my favorites, as well as "Paper Hearts" and "Memento Mori." I remember liking "Little Green Men" and "Sleepless" as well because there were some really sweet moments.
