DEATHSTROKE in Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
A Deathstroke artwork I did a couple of days ago. After the announcment of Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke, I believe. So I used Manganiello’s body as a template, here. For the costume, I took the current comics look as a basis, but “updated” it. In the comics, his suit is a prototype, and this would be the finished costume as I imagine it.
Even tho from now on I’ll use Manganiello’s body as ref for Deathstroke, I think I’ll still use Eric Dane’s face for Slade. Or maybe an amalgam of Manganiello and Dane.
Still working out the kinks of digital inking, but I’m so much more pleased with this technique than real inking.
Anyway, share and tell me what you think ! :)
What if his armor was more umm. um.
hi im thinking about him
Commission for @mew-poo! Thank you so much for commissioning me Dan, I had so much fun!

Lying about his age, Slade Wilson joined the army in his late adolescence and excelled as one of the armed forces most capable and decorated soldiers. He was selected to participate in a secret experiment wherein the Army attempted to imbue soldiers with enhanced physical powers. The procedure was successful and Wilson gained increased speed, agility, strength and endurance. He was later court-martialed and expelled from the Army after he defied orders so to rescue his colleague. Wilson then began a highly successful and infamous career as the mercenary and assassin known as ‘Deathstroke The Terminator.’ Sade made many enemies in his work, one who attempted to extract revenge by kidnapping Slade’s younger son, Jericho. Slade was able to rescue his son, but not before Jericho had his throat partially slit. The lad survived the wound, but his vocal chords permanently damaged, leaving him unable to speak. Slade’s wife, a highly decorated soldier in her own right, was so enraged over the way in which he had put her and her children’s lives in danger that she tried to kill him by shooting him in the head. Sade tried to evade the shot but it resulted in his being blinded in his right eye. At this point, Deathstroke’s skill as a combatant had become so significant that the loss his eye barely impacted on his efficacy as an assassin. Leaving his wife and family behind, Deathstroke buried himself in his work. He ultimately crossed passed with The Teen Titans, blaming them for the death of his older son Grant. He accepted an assignment from the shadowy organization known as Hive the capture The Titans, even going so far as to plant his protégé, Terra, as a double agent within the ranks of The Titans. He would go on to have numerous confrontations with The Titans, becoming one of the team’s primary nemesis. Later, he played a pivotal role int he formation of Lex Luthor’s Secret Society of Super Villains and additionally served on missions as a part of The Suicide Squad. More recently, Deathstroke has taken to leading a new team of young super powered beings, ironically called ‘The Titans East.’ A version of Deathstroke featured in the television series Lois and Clark where he was portrayed by actor Antonio Sabàto Jr.; another version showed up in the series Smallville played by Michael Hogan; Deathstroke played a central role in first few seasons of the television series Arrow, portrayed by actor Manu Bennett; the character makes a brief appearance in the movie Justice League, portrayed by Joe Manganiello; and Esai Morales has portrayed the character in the series Titans.
