i think you both would be amazing as a pair.
he would genuinely take care of you, looking after you the same way you look after others. he’d be like a key to you, opening the pocket of your heart. you’d be scared that he entered into the deepest part of your emotions, but as the person he is—it’s all so weird and warm at the same time. tanjiro had the ability to make you feel so loved and appreciated. you yearn for him as he does for you.
he especially appreciates your physical touch towards him. if he comes back from a long mission, he’d be shy about going to you at first. but after a few times the male would collapse straight in front of you and give you a sheepish smile. there you both would laugh slightly and he’d scoot in to have you hold him. leaning into his your touch, tanjiro would visibly melt at the feeling of being in your hold.
you both would care for nezuko equally. initially being wary of the idea of someone else caring for his sibling besides himself, he immediately trusted you to care for her. and you were great at it. nezuko loves to be on your lap while tanjiro would train throughout the night. seeing the image of you nurturing and caring for a small nezuko would have his heart racing. it’s giving him images of your life with him in the future.
“(y/n)! come with me!” tanjiro would exclaim excitedly, taking your hand within his own.
you’d look up curiously, searching for anything in his eyes. no, there’s no sign of mischief. sighing with a smile, you let the demon slayer take you by the hand and lead you outside. there he led you to the nearest river, where the sound of water streaming was especially serene at night. he sat you down and took a seat beside you. tanjiro’s head leaned onto your shoulder, and you gave your lover a smile.
“why here? we could’ve seen the stars from home.” you’d question, looking to the other curiously.
“just because. i like the way the moonlight shines on you here. it makes you look unreal.” he’d answer, cheeks pink but tone sincere.

Oh wow, this is the second matchup I’ve received recently where I was paired up with Tanjirō! I guess we really are super compatible!

This is so beautiful, omg. 🥺 You’ve got me adoring him even more than I already did. He sounds like such a sweet man to have in your life. And I would love all OVER Nezuko. I’m think she’s just adorable!

A: I enjoy reading, writing, gardening, and listening to music. I like being compassionate and helping others, working hard and having fun. I like to laugh. Just living life to the fullest. I don’t let many get REALLY close to me, but those that get past all of my walls, I love with everything that I am. I adore children. Perfumes/smelly good stuff in general are my ultimate weakness. Flowers are a part of that too.

A: Selfish people, mostly. I can be weird about certain textures (sensory thing). Gross smells.

- Do you want to match up with demons or humans, or both.

A: Preferably just humans.

- Do you love PDA, or are you a bit more private about it.

A: I absolutely adore physical affection! I obviously wouldn’t want to be making out with my S/O around other people, but hand holding, kissing…cuddling…all of the fluffy stuff. I can never get enough.

- And last, but not least, anything else that might help me match you up with a KNY character!

A: Hmm…well, I have ADHD. If that helps give you a better understanding of my personality. I try not to let it affect my life too much. I have a pretty nurturing personality; I enjoy loving on people, especially when they’re hurting. It’s gotten me burned in the past, but I’ve learned healthier boundaries since then. Struggled with depression/anxiety for a long time. I have my meltdowns still from time to time, but I fight hard to stay in the light and love life. Because I know what it’s like to be in the darkness.

» I actually have no idea why I haven't matched anyone with Tanjiro yet, but that thing changed today! I almost matched you with Kyojuro, but I ended up changing my mind after reading a bit more about you!

» Some of my reasons for this matchup include the fact that you adore children, love to live life to the fullest, and the fact that you have ADHD. (I think that Tanjiro's the perfect s/o for helping you with the symptoms, you know, like not being able to pay attention to something, etc.)

» His nose may be sensitive to different scents, but he still likes to test out various perfumes with you! He loves one of your perfumes, which smells like flowers because it's gentle to his nose and it reminds him of summer and happiness.

» Talking about summer and happiness, he really loves to take walks with you because he thinks that it's essential to get some vitamin D, especially since he knows your history with depression, and walking and being outside helps it surprisingly much. However, he totally understands if you want to stay indoors!

Oooohhhh, so close! 😆 But I am perfectly happy with Tanjirō also, he is just an absolute sweetie pie. Precious cinnamon roll, must be protected at all costs.

This sounds so beautiful too! I’m imagining relaxing with him during the summer time after Muzan’s defeat, just cherishing being alive and together. He’s got such a pretty soul, and he’s so considerate.

(And I am doing much better with my mental illnesses after finally getting medicated! Wish I had tried it years ago. I’m very thankful that you’re doing better with yours too! 💜)
