a/n: i like how i said mini headcanons,, it’s not really mini but it works! anyways holding hands and going to an arcade with kirishima?? ugh sign me uppppp

- kirishima would make it his personal duty to give you an amazing first date, even if you asked him on the date first. it’s his manly duty after all
- he wouldn’t tell you anything about the date because it’s a surprise, can you tell this boy really likes you and wants to impress you already?
- the day before the date he’ll tell you to wear something comfy, just because he knows you look amazing in anything and also because there’d be a lot of walking happening that day.
- first he told you to meet him at the park, not to early in the morning but a few hours before noon so that you guys could enjoy the freshness of cherry blossom trees in the morning.
- kirishima would immediately compliment how good you look, then ask to hold your hand. of course he would ask he’s a gentleman after all!
- he’d walk with you around the park and under the pink blossom, asking about how your night went or if you had any weird dreams that night. If you tried to ask him about the rest of the date he’d just grin at you and tell you to be patient.
- but in all honesty kirishima was getting impatient himself since he was just so excited to hang out with you.
- the walk in the park would end with you two going to some street vendor to get food for a nice brunch. he’d probably just get a hot dog or burger of some sort, he loves meat after all, and even when you insisted to pay, he somehow already paid for you both when you didn’t notice.
sneaky bastard i swear- as you guys eat, you’d also walk to your next location. kirishima warned you it might be a little bit of a far walk but you didn’t mind at all since when you both finished eating he went back to holding your hand.
- your next location was the local aquarium, to which you both walked around and watched all the cute sea creatures swim and chill out in their tanks. however when you guys go to the shark to the shark tank he immediately pulls his phone out to take a selfie with you and him with a shark in front of the shark tank, definitely while the shark is in frame.
also that’s now your contact photo and in his favorites album- after you guys take a few more cute pictures with the sea creatures and together, he’ll lead you to a corner of the aquarium you two haven’t gone to yet which actually was a little arcade! there was ocean and sea creature themed games and claw machines. you guys had a competitive game of skeeball, to which you won just because kirishima couldn’t throw it gently, and he even won you a shark plushie from the claw machine game!! it took him a few tries but he really wanted to win it so you could always remember your guy’s first date.
- after you guys play all the games at the arcade and collect prizes, mostly candy and snacks, from the tickets you won, the two of you finally start heading back to the dorms so that the whole class could have dinner together. he’d walk you back to your dorm room and help put away all the prizes you got away.
- then as you thank him for the fun date he’ll just stare at you, clearly nervous and blushing. “hey (y/n), can i kiss you?”
please it’s so cute that he’d ask to kiss you first cause he’s a GENTLEMANNN- you’d obviously agree because how could you even say no?? the kiss is so soft and gentle, he cups your face with his hands as he kisses you. and when he pulls away he’s just starstruck and quite red, he never realized that those sparkles and tingles he’s heard about when kissing someone you like would actually be true but he felt it when he kissed you.
- definitely would thank you for the kiss then stumble out of your room, for the rest of the night and during dinner he’s like an excited puppy. not to mention he has the biggest and dumbest grin on his face. he’s pretty sure he’s in love with you but he can tell you that after a few more super fun dates to come.
