A/N: my first piece of writing after being back on tumblr. my escapism came in full clutch man. i used the feelings of homesickness and nostalgia that have been accumulating and channeled it into this lol. its not very long, but as you can see im starting to stretch out my writing muscles again. ALSO! this is beginning the slow transition into other fandoms by beginning again with something familiar to you guys. just an fyi :). OKAY ENJOY GUYS!!!

Staring out the car window, the bright neon lights of the city around you seared their way into your eyes. College had been full of ups and downs, but your mind was currently on your long distance lover off in Japan. Your body ached for a chance to sleep, but being out with your friends and just now getting dinner meant that sleep was still a few hours away. As the slow rumble of your friend’s car droned on, a ping brought you out of your late night daze.

‘miss you! hope your friends aren’t driving you crazy 💛’

A small smile graced your lips, a common occurrence whenever a text from your boyfriend came. You missed him, you really did. You missed the quiet moments both of you shared when it was just you two or the comfort that laughing with your friends brought you. College just meant that all of that was further away from you than before, but it was a change that you would just have to learn to live with for at least four more years. Looking back at your phone, you began texting him back.

‘I miss you so much more pikachu. Can't wait until the next time you come visit so I can bore you by talking about my classes lol’

Hitting send, you waited for his response just in time for your friends to return and drive back home where dinner was awaiting you all. As you all began talking again, another ping came in. Of course, you weren't with your boyfriend or your older friends, but this would be a new experience that would give you new memories as well. And you knew Denki would be waiting for you when you returned home.

The Moment It All Stops

Summary: While suffering through a panic attack, Denki finds you, managing to bring you back into reality and calm you down.

A/N: I know many people wont be able to relate to this, or even be able to get through it, but this was mainly written for my own comfort. Yesterday, i personally suffered what i believe was a panic attack, but im still not exactly sure. i ended up writing this to try and comfort myself and calm down as writing helps me let go of whatever feelings im going through and escape. i’ll get back to writing more light-hearted things in the future, but for now, hope everyone who can read this enjoys it and manages to find some form of comfort.

bahah you mean in the server? yeah it was so funny just watching the whole thing while im here just “its supposed to be fluffy not angsty guys 😭”

The arcade was Denki’s safe haven. The most logical next step in your relationship seemed to be to take you with him to explore what made this place special. You both spent the time running around, almost trying to absorb the neon lights glaring down at you and the pinging of each individual machine.

Jumping from machine to machine, grabbing all the tickets possible, you both eventually made it to the end of your arcade adventure, cashing in your tickets into a collection of trinkets and toys that both of you could associate memories with. The two of you spent the next day playing with whatever trinket you both shared, savoring the atmosphere of the days spent together.
