Still using the Waring double burner and I am happy with it. I updated my post with how to get rid of stains on the plates.
We were thinking of waiting to buy a fridge because we could use the one that came out of the camper we demolished. But Home Depot had a really good deal on this Vissani fridge for the 4th of July we couldn't pass up. It seems to be working well. It's also energy star rated. I like it because of the separate freezer. Only downside is the manual defrost (every 3 months or so).

We got our Waring Pro double burner a few months ago but haven't been able to try it out. Well finally we got to use it tonight. We don't have our kitchen cabinets or countertop installed yet but we used a table. It takes a couple minutes to warm up but it cooked the ground beef (for my husband's tacos, I'm vegetarian) very quickly. And that was on a low setting. I will let you know how it works out later on but so far I am impressed.
