Today is Mari’s 2nd birthday! I can’t believe how fast it’s flown by. She brings so much fun and mischief into our lives and, even though we've got a long way to go, she's maturing into a wonderful little dog. I'm looking forward to many more years of trouble fox shenanigans.
Compilation of Mari and Turnip cuddling because it’s honestly the cutest thing in the whole world.
Hi friends! It has been a very long time since I posted here, which is primarily because life has been busy lately and I haven’t had very much energy for social media. But it’s been the good kind of busy! In May my partner and I moved in together and we are now in a much bigger and nicer place than where I was living. The whole process of moving, getting the house set up, and now working to maintain a much bigger space than I’m used to has been taking up a lot of my energy but I am so incredibly happy with our current life 🥰
The girls are both doing wonderful. They are thrilled to have a bigger space and to finally have their dad living with us. I haven’t had much time or energy to do a lot of the stuff we used to (dog sports, going on hikes, etc.) but I am hoping to start getting back into the swing of things when the weather starts to warm up! In the meantime they both seem to think that the extra space, fenced in backyard, and having my partner here makes up for it.
I will probably be going through and posting some pictures from the last few months soon. Gabe and I are flying out to California today to spend the holidays with his family so I should have plenty of new Beatle content for you all haha, and while we’re gone Mari is staying with @creekfiend who has already posted some fantastic pictures of her being her best little goblin self.
We have a lot of exciting things happening in the next couple months!
In mid-May my long-term boyfriend, Gabe, is finally going to be moving in with us. We’ve been waiting for this for a very long time and I can’t even begin to express how happy I am. He’s going to be visiting for a little over a week at the end of this month, too, to start getting his things moved over from across the country.
We are also going to be getting a lot more space soon! We’ll be on the same property we’re living on right now but instead of living the basement, Gabe and I will be renting the entire house. I have plans to turn the basement into a dog training and grooming area and I’m super pumped about that. Staying in this house also means we’ll still be close to the lake (where these photos were taken) and I’m so glad because it’s the perfect place for the dogs to play. We’ll be fencing in the backyard, too, so it’s easier to let the them out. The plan is to stay in this house for a long time and we have lots of fun ideas for renovations we want to make!
Thank you for tuning in for our little life update ❤️
Look at this baby gorl 🥺❤️
I got to snuggle Mari’s new baby siblings yesterday! I’m going to be visiting once a week to take progress pictures of them and I’m very excited to watch them grow ❤️
Kes is in labor!!!
2 babies so far 💕
3rd one!

Kestrel started nesting late last night, has lost her appetite, and is panting more! She progressed very slowly last time so probably tomorrow, not tonight, but could be!
I'll be posting a lot more puppy stuff on Facebook, so if you want and are a mutual message me here with your FB name. Otherwise you can join the Vulpine Spitz Project group

Definitely tonight!
So excited for Mari to become a big sister! Cyril has asked me to come visit and photograph these puppies once a week while they grow so I’ll be spending a lot of time with them ❤️
she was a sk8r girl
Happy 1st birthday Mari! I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by but I’m so grateful that we got to spend it together. She has grown into the most wonderful, mischievous little dog and she makes me smile every single day. I’m so excited to see what the next year has in store for us!

Tomorrow I’m taking Mari to her breeder @justslowdown where she’ll stay while Beatle and I are in California for a little over a week. I know she’s going to have SUCH a great time but I’m going to miss her so much! I’m definitely a little sad to be missing her first Christmas, even though she won’t know the difference. She’s going to be in great hands and we’ll be reunited before we know it 🥰
Yesterday evening I looked outside and everything was bright pink from the sunset. I grabbed my camera and rushed outside to get a few pictures while the gorgeous lighting lasted. The colors in these photos are not edited— I still can’t believe how beautiful the colors were.
I think it’s funny that the good pictures I posted look so calm and serene, but in reality the energy of the photoshoot was more like these photos lmao
Baby fox kisses = mood improved📈
Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware protects one of the largest remaining expanses of tidal salt marsh in the mid-Atlantic region and provides excellent habitat for a terrific variety of wildlife. The refuge is home to eagles, hawks, ducks, geese, and litters of cute baby fox or kits.
Dependent on their mothers through the spring and summer, fox kits will become independent in autumn. With excellent hearing, quick reflexes and sharp wits, it won’t be long before these little fuzzies turn into skilled hunters.
