had a dream that I met a wizard and we fell in love and became unhealthily attached to each other so we decided to meld into one single creature together but the process was horrifically slow and painful and most of the dream was us lying in bed holding hands while lesions opened up in our skin and seeped out blue and green fluid and the wizard said "this is going to take a very very long time" and I said "that's ok"

Ted Lasso writers writing michelle into a relationship where she is being actively manipulated and preyed upon by the man who urged her to distance herself/consider divorce whilst acting as her MARRIAGE COUNSELOR + writing Jamie an additional layer of childhood sexual trauma to go along with all of his many other traumas only to lean into the 'forgive your abusers!' angle literally 5 episodes later + writing Keeley's adult teacher preying on her and spreading her topless photos around then immediately playing it off as a joke... twisted trinity of dumping traumas onto their characters that they don't ever plan on engaging with in an extended or meaningful way :)
