A Reveal, but not the one you’d expect

Perhaps one day Plagg gets sick in the way Tikki was back in Season 1. He needs Master Fu to heal him so he leads Adrien to him (let’s assume the kwamis are always able to find the Guardian, makes it more convenient). Adrien arrives as Chat Noir (for reasons), but what’s this? Marinette is here? She knows Master Fu? Maybe she’s only aware of Master Fu’s cover identity as Mr. Chan.

No such luck. Chat overhears their conversation and realizes it’s about the Miraculous lore and finding Hawkmoth.

Like the impulsive boy he is, Chat barges in and demands to know why his unassuming but dear sweet friend is involved.

In a panic, Marinette’s first instinct is to protect her identity as Ladybug. It was one thing to lie and give a fake love confession to Chat back then, but this time, all the evidence was too incriminating. She quickly decides she’ll have to sacrifice a different secret.

“I’m training to become the next Great Guardian.”

I would seriously love to see how this would play out and the lead up to them figuring out their superhero identities/civilian identities.
