Eddie and Tommy working as a unit to get Buck to listen to reason about The Curse is such a good scene. Not just because it’s cute but because it furthers the story in interesting ways: It reinforces Eddie and Tommy as friends and both familiar with Buck’s antics and wanting to calm him down. It gives a freshness to Buck and Eddie’s Believer-Skeptic dynamic to have the Believer be the odd one out when it’s usually Eddie as the sole skeptic when he’s with the firehouse. It lets Eddie be treated as The Medic to possibly foreshadow his transition into paramedic following the previous episode with the REBOA. It continues Tommy being there for Buck as he tries to stem the spiral with Eddie as backup.

And then Tommy eventually being the one to crack and ask the ghost of Billy Boils to lift the curse? That was just cute. Maybe he isn’t as much of a skeptic as he thinks.
