Finally got around to finishing the copper framing on the "Sunny Dove" panel. Not being thrilled with this panel, it sat for months and months ... I do like the rippled glass in the center of the sun!

"Sunny Dove" round panel - work in progress - initial layout of cut glass
Here is where I'm at. The center is the piece that was soldered together a couple of years ago and just dug up while trying to organize the shelves. As I said in the earlier post about this piece, I thought I was going for some type of 'sun' background, thus this pattern was made to surround it. But now there is a recollection - it was originally meant to be a rectangular panel with streaks of sunset hues surrounding the center. Oh well, maybe next time, If more of the amber rippled glass can be found.
The one piece is sitting out because it's going to be replaced with a different glass selection. It's too similar to the center ring.
"Sunny Dove", circular panel - work in progress
Found a dove bevel cluster that years ago, was soldered together, with some surrounding glass. Can't be sure why I selected the glass that was used, instead of a blue for the sky. I'm thinking I must've been intending to do some type of sun as a background.
