“He’s gone.” - Steve Rogers x Tony Stark

Summary/Request: Hi! I was wondering if you'd do an Analogical ship with the prompts: "He's gone." and "God, I'm never leaving your side again"? Pairing: Steve Rogers x Tony Stark (maybe platonic? idek) Word Count: 801 Warning(s): hydra agents, fighting, choking, stab wound, mentions blood, Steve admitting his feelings, death, being brought back from the dead if that’s really a thing... humor me please, etc

Requested by: @angstqueen0808

Steve ran, throwing his red, white, and blue shield at the Hydra agent, knocking him to the ground. More hydra agents flocked towards Steve in the hopes of taking the super soldier down. But Steve being stronger than them, he effortlessly took them out.

Once the area was clear, he put two of his fingers up to the com in ear. “What is everyone’s status?”

“I could use some help, Steve,” Wanda yelled over the heavy gunfire.

“I’m on my way,” Steve replied. He started to make his way to where Wanda was, but was stopped dead in his tracks by a man in all black. “What the hell...” he mumbled under his breath.

This man in all black marched towards Steve with a purpose. The man went to throw a punch, but ended up hitting Steve’s shield. He pushed the round vibranium disk aside, kicked Steve to the ground, and fired his gun. Steve instinctively put the shield in front of him, protecting himself from the bullets fired at him. As this man grabbed another gun from his holster, Steve took the opportunity to run up and smack the man with his shield. But his attempt failed because the man in all black grabbed his shield and landed a stiff hard punch on Steve’s chest. Knocked on his knees, Steve took a look at this man. He had dark brown hair, almost black. He stood tall and was well built. Steve also noted that he had a long white scar going down the entire left side of his face.

“Steve, where are you? I’m getting a little swamped,”

“I’m a little occupied right now,” Steve ran towards him once more, but quickly dodged when the man threw his shield into the tree behind him.

The mysterious man pulled out a knife, twirling in it his hand. “Ты моя миссия(you are my mission),”

“затем закончить его(Then finish it),”

The two men traded blows back and forth. For a second Steve thought he had the upper hand. And for a slight moment, he let his guard down. But the man took this opportunity to wrap his hand around Steve’s neck and squeeze. He brought Steve in close, and with a swift movement, he plunged the knife deep into his torso. Taking the knife out, he let the star-spangled man drop to the ground.

The man looked down at Steve, feeling rather proud that the hero was slowly dying. He walked away completing his mission.

“I’ve... been... stabbed,” Steve muttered under his breath. He took a look down and noticed blood was pouring out rather quickly. His vision started to blur as we vaguely saw the shape of a familiar red and gold suit.

“Oh my god... this can’t be happening,” Tony said, applying pressure to the wound in the hopes of slowing down the bleeding.

“Tony, there’s something I need to tell you,”

“You don’t get to say goodbye just yet,”

“No, I need to tell you this,” Steve paused. “For the longest time I wanted to tell you that I had feelings for you, but then whenever I worked up the courage, I chickened out at the last minute.”

Tony didn’t know what to say. It was a lot to take in for him. “I- I honestly don’t know what to say,”

“You don’t have to say anything. I just needed to tell you before I die,” Steve’s eyes slowly closed, body becoming limp. Tony cradled Steve’s head in his lap, letting warm, salty tears roll down his face.

Natasha came up from behind Tony and crouched down next to Steve’s body. Placing two fingers on his neck to check for a pulse, she looked down in sadness. “He’s gone,”

Tony’s head snapped up. “We can still save him! There’s gotta be a way!”

“Tony... He’s gone. Dead as in not coming back,”

“I get Romanoff,” Tony snarled. Bucky and Sam came over and picked up Steve’s body and placed it on the quinjet. Just then, Tony had an idea. Pulling out his phone, he dialed the number of a the Wakanda king. “T’Challa… I need a favor,”

Steve groaned, opening his eyes to see he was in a hospital room. He remembered being stabbed. He even remembers bleeding out, so why was he here? Turning his head, he saw Tony sleeping in the chair next to his bed.

“You’re awake,”

“Where are we? Why did you revive me?”

“We’re in Wakanda. They used their technology to help revive you,” Tony moved the chair closer to the edge of the bed. “Listen, you dying made me realize that there isn't life I envision that doesn’t have you in it. I want you, and only you. God, I'm never leaving your side again,"

“Good because I don’t want you leave,”

I’m back! If it’s not good, I apologize I’m a little rusty. I hope you like it anyway!

Baby Please Come Home - Wanda Maximoff (Day Ten)

Summary: You’re a soldier in the united states army, and for weeks Wanda was looking forward to you coming home for Christmas. That is until you tell you won’t be able to come home. Little did Wanda know you had something planned. Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x Reader Word Count: 635 Warning(s): slight angst, fluff and happiness, etc
A/N: Kristin ( @letsgetfuckingsuperwholocked ) and I talked about soldier home comings, and I decided to write a one-shot about it. After all, I’m a HUGE sucker for soldier home comings. Especially if its soldiers coming home to dogs. I bawl every single time.

“You’re not going to make it?” Wanda’s voice softened, clearly heartbroken. She wanted to celebrate your first Christmas together. Then again, she knew what she was signing up for when she first started dating you.

“I’m sorry, babe. My commanding officer needs me to stay back. You know I’d be there if I could.”

“Yeah, I know it’s just- I was hoping we could spend our first Christmas together.”

“When I get home, whenever that may be, we can certainly make up for it,” You knew Wanda was upset, that much was clear. It honestly hurt you, as much as it hurt her. Little did Wanda know you had been planning your homecoming for weeks, and you were most definitely going to be home for Christmas. “Listen, I got to go. I love you.”

“Love you to,” Wanda hung up the phone with a frown.

“What’s with the sad face,” Sam asked.

“Y/n won’t home for Christmas,” Sam almost wanted to tell her that it was a lie, and that you would be home for Christmas, but he knew you would kill him.

“It will be alright,”

“No, it won’t be alright. All I wanted for Christmas was for her to come home so we can celebrate it together. Now I’m not so sure Christmas is worth celebrating.” Sam sighed, and watched the scarlet witch walk away. Wanda needed to hang in there because her Christmas gift was coming.

“Thank you for choosing united airlines, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!” Grabbing your bags, you headed outside. Sam was supposed to pick up from the airport, but there was a change of plans, and so he had Steve come pick you up.

“Welcome home Soldier,” Steve brought you into hug. “How was the flight?”

“Steve, how many times have I told you just call me y/n,” You placed your bag in the backseat, and hopped in the car. “Pretty good, I’m just ready to surprise Wanda. The look on her face will be priceless.”

“Yeah, she was pretty upset when you told her you wouldn’t make it home.”

“I know she was, and it killed me to lie to her, but I didn’t want to spoil the surprise.” You turned to the window, watching the people walk down the sidewalk. As you got closer to the avengers tower, your hands were jittery and your anxiety rose. Soon you find yourself in the elevator on the way up to the common room.

“You sure she doesn’t know I’m here?” You asked, turning towards Steve.

“No, she doesn’t expect a thing,” The doors of the elevator open, and Steve quickly hid you behind the wall, hidden from view.

“Ah! Steve you’re back. Did you bring Wanda’s gift?” Though you could not see, you knew it was Sam.

“Yes, yes I did,”

“What gift?” Wanda asked. Her curiosity heightened. She had no real desire to celebrate Christmas since your phone call the other day. Wanda was dragged from her room to celebrate with the others.

“I had to pull some strings and make a few phone calls, but I managed to get your gift.” Wanda’s eyebrow rose in confusion. Then you stepped out from behind the wall. Her hands shot to her mouth, and tears welled up.

“I believe this is the part where you come and hug me,” You say, opening your arms. She scurried off the couch and into your arms.

“You said you weren’t going to make it,”

“Yeah, about that, I lied.”

“How long do I have you?” Wanda asked, pulling away from the hug.

“Three weeks,”

“Well, then let’s make those three weeks count!” Wanda placed a kiss on your forehead. She may only get you for three weeks, but for those three weeks, she knew you would be safe in her arms.

Like I said in the authors note above, I’m a huge sucker for those soldier homecoming videos. Especially if its soldiers coming home to dogs or babies.

3 down, 9 more to go!!
