It's important to me because Blumiere and Timpani actually start up as EXES for like, almost five years when they were resurrected back to Flipside. Blumiere regains a slow, healthy friendship with Timpani from a distance through letters while also both making separate career paths/lives without each other.

If you know me, one thing I wasn't really a fan of was SPM automatically marrying them off and some paradise realm at the end of the game. I feel like these two would have a lot of trauma and trust issues, with the trust issues primarily stemming from Timpani's end naturally.

At the end of the day Blumiere just wanted to see her happy and living what she does best, selflessly helping other people out. While Timpani wanted Blumiere to heal and remember how much he loved the world and its people without The Dark Prognosis possessing him. Timpani's coping mechanism is distancing herself, hardening up and taking control out of things she fears that would hurt her, while Blumiere's moreso is raw, open emotions and timidness that he might hurt someone, so that's a constant thing in their dynamic that can get clunky.

A relationship at least in my story, was only possible after a lot of boundaries set, reflecting and trauma healing, although not necessarily can every scar heal either.

Coming in at the end of this memes life cycle to debut my Timpani design! I dont have much notes on her other than I love her so (also that her casual outfit is based on an actual outfit of mine, which was not my original intention, but the vibes felt right.

Count Bleck is the Ringmaster, Timpani is the Funambulist (aka the person who walks in the tightrope), Nastasia is the animal enchanter and hypnotist, Dimentio is obviously the Magician Mimi is Dimentio's assistant and the Contortionist, (I can imagine both of them being acrobats too), O'Chunks is the also obviously the Strongman and the Fire Breather and lastly but not least Mr.L is the globe of death motorcyclist!

Reposting a remake of an old piece of art from Super Paper Mario, a game that holds a special place in my heart, where Bleck and Tippi’s relationship makes my teenage (and current) self go “UwU”

Went sorting through my older art files over the weekend and saw some  and though “Hey this is still pretty good” and decided to upload it  to  tumblr so it actually has some posts besides work stuff lol

I did some Super Paper Mario fan art of Lady Timpani. ;w; I quite like how this turned out.

I know I missed it already and it’s not new but I had drawn this for Super Paper Mario’s anniversary like a year or two ago

decided to do a redraw of the drawing i did of super paper mario's end screen 5 years ago to see if i could do it better now. turns out the answer is yes, very much so!
