Also, I wanted to thank all the LOTR fans here on Tumblr, my Inktober drawings had such a warm reception, I’m really flattered. Thank you.

I already miss drawing so much LOTR, so have a Hobbit hug and a nice Merry quote:

Inktober Day 29. Shoes.

As for the Hobbits of the Shire, with whom these tales are concerned, in the days of their peace and prosperity were a merry folk. They dressed in bright colours, being notably fond of yellow and green; but they seldom wore shoes, since their feet, had tough leathery soles and were clad in a thick curling hair much like the hair of their heads, which was commonly brown. Thus the only craft little practised among them was shoe – making; but they had long and skilful fingers and could make many other useful and comely things.

Inktober Day 21. Sleep.

‘We seem to have enemies all around’, said Frodo, ‘What are we to do?’

‘Stay here and do not go to your rooms! They are sure to have found out those. The hobbit – rooms have windows looking north and close to the ground. We will all rremain together and bar this window and the door. [ … ] Peering out, Frodo saw that the night was still clear. The Sicklewas swinging bright above the shoulders of Bree – hill. He then closed and barred the heavy inside shutters and drew the curtains together. Strider built up the fire and blew out the candles.

The hobbits lay down on their blankets with their feet towards the hearth; Strider settled himself in the chair against the door.

Inktober Day 13. Dune.

Sam said nothing. The look on Frodo’s face was enough for him; he knew that words of his were useless. And after all he never had any real hope in the affair from the beginning; but being a cheerful hobbit he had not needed hope, as long as despair colud be postponed. Now they were come to the bitter end. But he had stuck to his master all the way; that was what he had chiefly come for, and he would still stick to him. His master would not go to Mordor alone. Sam would go with him – and at any rate they would get rid of Gollum.

I really wanted to do a challenge, not a long one like the Inktober, but a shorter one like the 12 Days Movie Challenge. I couldn't find anything I liked so, I made one up for myself. I wanted something with The Lord of the Rings, I feel I don't draw it enough even though it's my favourite movie, so since I'm fresh from re-watch and re-reading I randomly opened the book 12 times and picked 12 words. Here's what came out of it. If anyone's interested, feel free to join me :D
