Happy (dramione) Halloween!
Near blinding radiance. Sand glowing gold, air humming with power. Wild electricity dancing from the head of the cane, cutting the darkness with purple-white whips.
A forked finger finding Draco, arcing through him, his body luminescent, brilliant, beautiful.
Then, the explosion.
This is a commission done for Misdemeanor1331′s fic Shifting Sands over at AO3, featuring Ministry bureaucracy, romance, and lots of lightning. If this sounds interesting then go check it out!
Some notes about this painting: This is a metaphorical representation of Dramione’s relationship in the fic. Hermione is a “storm” and the lightning that comes down can hurt Draco, and yet Draco dares to take the risk anyway because he wants to prove to her that he is worthy.
Despairingly, Hermione cradles Draco’s limp body against her arm. He is unresponsive, his cursed wound still oozing out blood in a frightening amount. Hermione tries to clear her mind and assess their situation, but all her frantic mind can come back to is the all-consuming fact that ‘Draco is going to die.....Draco is going to DIE if she doesn’t do something quick’.
And despite all this...despite her need to find a way to save this dying man in her arms, she can feel the creature slowly wake in the presence of his blood. Her suppression potions must have worn out, because she can feel her incisors sharpen and her salivary glands activate. Even now, she cannot control the vampire inside her.
This is a little glimpse into my dramione vampire head-canon. For those who still remember, I intended to do a creatures series a while back and even though there’s been a delay, I *will* follow through. I will go back to my mermaid au, but this is a little peak into a vampire au that will follow.
Summer is officially over...but I’m reminiscing the warm, lazy days. Here is a scene with young Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Black, and Severus Snape intermingling...enjoying the sun on the Hogwarts lawn. This is a commission for @thessakenway who asked me to illustrate her OT3 in a beautiful way.
Some details to note: I was asked for all three to be interacting/touching in a very subtle way. I paid a lot of attention to their body placement in order to best convey that naturally. Narcissa is lying on Lucius’s chest, about to touch his face. Lucius is looking at Narcissa, one arm under and hand around her waist. Snape is not third-wheeling; Narcissa is fingering his tie, and Lucius has a pinky looped around Severus’s hand. All three are fully clothed, but the sexual tension is there if you pause to look...hidden in plain sight.

It’s about the little touches
I dug around in my old folders and found some old wips including this one that I decided to splatter some colors on and call it a day.
Commission piece (2/2) for Hogwarts.Riddle. This is a scene from her Tomione fic Eternalism. Hermione finds herself in the same orphanage as little Tom Riddle. Dumbledore comes to meet both of the children, but Tom is a little protective...

Commission piece (1/2) for Hogwarts.Riddle. This is a scene from her Tomione fic Eternalism, featuring the Golden Trio.
Commission piece for nztina, who asked me to illustrate an intimate dramione scene from her fic Captive of My Spear
...The floor crowds with tiny shards of crystal and large pieces of china, until there’s no safe space to walk.
And in some wild fever dream, the two of them hop down off the table. Laugh and scream and jump around in it like they’re splashing through puddles in the rain. Jump until they can hardly breathe.
Until they’re hunched over, gasping and red-faced.
Hermione closes her eyes. Heaves out smiling breaths at the ceiling. Then she shuffles her way through the mess, feeling sharp edges prick at her ankles and not caring a bit. She kicks aside the debris next to the wall and collapses into a seat against it.
Malfoy joins her moments later, sliding down and leaning his head back against the stone.
Together, their panting slows. Fades to quiet, simultaneous breaths.
“Feels good, doesn’t it?” he murmurs, foot playing with half a teacup. “Destroying things.”
“Yes,” she answers instantly. She can’t think clearly in this moment. Doesn't want to. She hasn’t felt a release like this since long before the war.
And for a good ten minutes or so, the two of them sit in complete silence. Comfortable with it. Not feeling the need to break it, unlike everything else.
A couple weeks ago, the lovely Onyx&Elm came to me asking if I can illustrate a particular scene (ch. 23) from her fic, Breath Mints / Battle Scars. This is what I came up with. Hopefully it manages to convey the cathartic breathlessness of that moment Draco and Hermione shared.
Tom Riddle | Hermione Granger | Draco Malfoy Triad; From my MermaidAU series
I’ve been reading everyone’s comments, and the tomione enthusiasm has swayed me to make Tom more of a relational focal point. Originally, the comic was more to set up the background story, but I’ve made it a triad now. I imagine Tom seduced Hermione into taking the potion that turned her into a mermaid.
VEELA [n] ... morph into bird-like creatures with elongated, sharp bird faces and long scaly wings that sprout from their shoulders. o
Draco as a Veela (or part-Veela) is a very common fandom trope. There are many interpretations of the Veela form, most involving feathered wings like a harpy. In canon lore though, Veelas have scaled, more leather-like wings like sirens, and I personally prefer this version. Rather than an angelic Veela Draco, let’s imagine a more beastly, monster-like Draco who, regardless, has to win over his mate. His mate will have to look past the monster...and doesn’t that make for an interesting story?

eye contact
when I drew the Hermione and Draco portraits, originally the plan was to do a short comic panel where they make eye contact across the Great Hall...but then I got carried away and the portraits came out a little too pretty so I posted them individually. The concept was still buzzing in my head though so I made this thing.
