It really depends, the 2 i know/am are Otherkin and Fictionkin (words you’ve probably seen at least once on this website)
Otherkin is basically “I am/I was in a past life [Insert an animal or object here]”, It’s a form of belief in Reincarnation, the bond is very strong (I’m not very good at wording, sorry about that
Fictionkin is similar except with fictional characters (I know a few and i am actually fickin too)
There are lots and lots of other things and words (Fictive, Factkin, ETC) but that is basically what i know (Sorry if i got some facts wrong, i’m not the best source)
