levtavia from the finale trailer:
so it looks bad right? levitt with a gun-shot wound and blood laying on the ground while octavia runs out in mid-fire to his side. but okay jason diaz was on the sanctum set and was present after the last scene was shot in a moment with emori, jackson, and murphy as well even though they’re all back at sanctum with emori. so it’s safe to say this is probably a fake out.
LEVTAVIA ENDGAME Y’ALL
what is bothering me abt *some* reactions regarding bell*my’s death is the perception that only NOW jason rothenberg is racist and cant write deaths. y’all disregarded ricky and jarod’s previous statements abt how jason was a racist and homophobic piece of shit, but y’all are only NOW spouting shit left and right bc it suits ur narrative. y’all didn’t have this energy for them or when lexa was killed off in a shitty manner, so don’t act like y’all have it now. some of y’all are pissed a character died, but others don’t try to make ur standards into something they’re not.
Octavia and Levitt share an intimate moment: Script to Screen ♥ [ 1 / 3 ]

A few remarks about Orlando and Levitt…
Orlando was level 12. Levitt’s level 11. You can sense that the requirements for getting to those levels are very high (Charmaine, Echo and Octavia, are only Level 2).
It seems logical, then, in this context of abandoning emotions and personal attachments, that people at levels 11 and 12 should be required, or even volunteered, to “infiltrate” belligerent and potentially dangerous strangers, and bring them without too many casualties to Bardo. Orlandos mission was certainly also to gather as much information as possible about the newcomers during those five years. That means he was ready to give those five years to the Cause (I still don’t get what this Cause is, but whatever…).
His little hesitation here is very telling, I think…
Orlando, a level 12, was very trustworthy to Anders. Whether he’s dead or not is not the issue here. He completed his mission, which resulted in the recovery of Charmaine, Hope and Octavia on Bardo.
That’s why Levitt is necessarily playing a double game. He has a mission. His mission is Octavia, and to win her trust…
But where will his loyalty end up? That remains to be seen.
i don’t think this is correct. the script said they both had feelings for each other and that levitt was worried/afraid for her to pass the test or she’d be sent away from him to die. plus marie confirmed levitt fell in love with her in m-cap, and why would he get beaten up if it was his mission to get close to her? and why would anders give him the side eye and when he helped octavia which made levitt panic noticeably? these are other things to consider as well.
in reply, i do agree levitt does believe in the cause, but he wants it done better and doesn’t believe that feelings are weakness. he’s good at masking them but even before he knew octavia, he wasn’t like the other disciples who were still working on bardo that used torture or cruel insults to get answers. so i think he believes in helping mankind but wants a better solution, but he’s never really been introduced to a new solution until octavia which is why he’s been so subservient until now. even in his official character desc., it says he’s a brilliant mind with a rebellious artist buried deep inside, but he’s always followed orders until life sends him a curve-ball (i.e. octavia). so that’s my opinion frankly why he’s been so under-radar until now.
