i was talking about this with a friend but here's my ideal formula for the next deep cut concert

  • open with anarchy rainbow (obviously)
  • till depth do us part/smeared canvas (since we got fins in the air/hide and sleek in the last one) (also till depth do is part is my fav splatfest theme i would kill to hear it live)
  • deep cut greets the audience, hypes them up a bit, then says they gotta go even though it was a short concert
  • they leave and the SQUID SISTERS IRL come on stage!!
  • callie and marie squidsister sing tomorrow's nostalgia today (did y'all see the cover of that song pretending to be an official live version on youtube? it slapped but my dumbass though the squidsters actually went live without me knowing)
  • anyways after the song the squid girls dance around and wave and then big man comes in from backstage. he's like omg hi squid sisters i love you guys, wanna sing together
  • and they're like yeah! and they all sing liquid sunshine
  • and then DRAMA! shiver and frye come in from opposite sides of the stage and start yelling at poor big man, all while ominous yet hype drums are playing
  • shiver and frye shove the squid sisters backstage, rough big man up a bit, and then they all sing big betrayal
  • after the song, big man stands up for himself and says he's allowed to perform with whoever he wants. shiver and frye apologize and admit they were just jealous their fav manta ray was having so much fun without them and didn't want him to ditch them (obviously they'd go more in depth than what i'm saying)
  • all is forgiven, they hug (please nintendo let them hug) and they sing daybreak anthem
  • the squid sisters come back and admire deep cut's friendship, going on about how nice it is that they were able to make up
  • and then all of them sing the last song, calamari inkantation 3mix
  • remember how when off the hook did fly octo fly and they had confetti? i want confetti for this one
  • i think this would be a pretty long for a splatoon concert, but whatever oth got pretty close to hour-long concerts
  • mmkay thats all i got bye
