Truly love knowing that Caleb was so close to becoming his darkest self and instead he is living his best life. He gets to teach and have a garden and spend time with his partner and also hunt down horrible wizards as a hobby.

But he was so so close to being on the other side! And that's what makes it incredible that he's thriving! Caleb Widogast is that bitch!

just like with Essek, i tried to focus on the realism here 👀 it's easier with Caleb because he is a human and photo references are easier to come by for humans, but he is still not a real person i can observe so there is a fair bit of theatre of the mind modeling going on when i draw him 🤭
