'I carry a lot of sins, like you do.' 'Not anywhere like I do.' 'Don't be so sure.' 'I'm pretty sure, young man.'

commission for @nyarlie, who requested an illustration of one of the most wizard moments of campaign 2 ever 😏 featuring a clean-shaven dirt wizard, which was very fun to paint! i don't draw Caleb without his signature scruff often, but he definitely makes such a handsome lad 🤭 this scene is one of my favorite for the way it characterizes both Caleb and Essek, and i was very happy to rewatch it several times as i worked on this painting.

the way i picture the ninth floor of Caleb's tower (and the space "inside" the beacons) might be a bit unconventional, but i am very much in love with the initial soft gray and starry imagery of dunamancy we had in c2, so it was a special treat for me to be allowed the creative freedom to paint it as such. thank you for commissioning me 💜

Need everyone that watches tlovm to know that in the campaign they spend a good third of an episode having a “cannonball” contest in Scanlan’s mansion. Spells are used. Explosives are set off. Grog is judging and Percy wins because he’s the only one that draws blood.

Thank you for your time

For posterity

Okay but what's the over/under on Travis deciding in the very last moment of the campaign, a la Grog pulling from the Deck of Many Things, that Chet's heart finally gives out. I'm going with "extremely likely".

I'm glad we all agree. Travis would definitely end the campaign like "Enough post-campaign wedding one-shots. Critical Role has progressed past the need for post-campaign wedding one-shots. It's time for a post-campaign funeral one-shot."

nana morri looking to orym and saying “hello.” and orym smiling and saying “hi nana.” 🥺

again. I’ll never shut up about the fact that orym, who goes out of his way to be deferential or reverential, who politely and respectfully “ma’am”s and “sir”s anyone and everyone he meets, who uses this language long after he needs to based on the relationship, met nana morri and immediately called her “nana.” fearne is his family. fearne is his family to the point that he never felt the need to call nana morri ‘fatestitcher’ or ‘morrigan’ or anything but nana. do you get it. DO YOU
