Faith In The Future

“Hi.” Harry drawled and smiled back at her warmly “Can I get a venti pumpkin latte please?” he started and the girl nodded as she typed his order into the register. 

“With almond milk,” he added slowly when she looked back up and the girl gave him another nod as she added the request “and seven pumps of pumpkin sauce.” He added sheepishly, he really liked pumpkin okay? And the season was short, he had to make the most of it. The girl didn’t loose her smile as she added that as well “And one pump of maple pecan sauce.” He added quickly. The girls eyebrows twitched slightly but she didn’t loose her smile. 

“Also,” Harry started after a short pause “extra whipped cream and caramel drizzle.” He bit his bottom lip “And some extra pumpkin topping please.” He said after a beat and flashed her an apologetic smile. She smiled back at him and added all of his requests without complaint. 

“Is that all?” She asked friendly. 

Harry bit his lip again “Actually, just maybe some extra vanilla topping, too?” He smiled again. 

“No, what the fuck?”

Harry flinched at the angry voice that was suddenly heard from behind him and looked at the girl with wide eyes, who only glanced past him with a curious expression on her face. Harry blinked a few times before slowly turning his head to look at the person behind him.

Or: Harry really loves elaborate coffee orders, Louis is really annoyed by it. They keep running into each other.

“Are you okay?” He asked concerned.

Louis glanced at him “Everything hurts, is all.” He explained.

Harry nodded and cleared his throat before speaking up “You know, there might be a way to make you feel better, help you recover faster.” The alpha cleared his throat again as he glanced anywhere but at Louis.

Louis looked at him with narrowed eyes “Are you suggesting to scent me?” he asked incredulously.

Harry shrugged “It’s been proven to help. There are studies.” He said quietly.

And usually Louis would protest, would tell the alpha to fuck off, to get the hell out of his flat. That he wasn’t some weak omega who needed some alpha’s help. But as it was, he was tired and exhausted and in pain. Being scented actually sounded kind of nice right now.

“Fine but don’t make it weird.” Louis said as he turned on his right side, silently asking Harry to lie behind him.

Or: Louis is an independent omega, who doesn't need or want an alpha. When he becomes ill and meets alpha Harry, he agrees to let him take care of him and quickly gets addicted to his scent. He continues making up lies so that the alpha keeps scenting him. Will he finally admit to himself that he might be attracted to more than just his scent?
