Skippy’s been here for a little over three months! He’s a very fast learner, here’s a few things he’s learned how to do so far:
-eat food without being scared it’ll be taken away
-walk on a leash
-play fetch (his fav is the tennis ball)
-get the zoomies
-sit and shake for a treat
-go outside without being scared
-watch for people to get home
his favorite treats are: cucumber slices, red bell pepper strips, fresh raspberries/strawberries from the garden, salmon jerky & salmon skins from trader joe’s

#he LOVES to play#and it’s been very rewarding watching him come out of his shell!#the only person he barks/growls at is my mom though???#and i have a feeling that has to do with how he was treated at the hoarder house he came from#anyway it’s satisfying to know that you are your dog’s favorite person#my dogs#dog updates that no one asked for :)#also i can not believe it’s almost been a year since i lost Mickey :( i miss him#also also we got our floors replaced! finally no more dog pee carpet lmfao
