19.01.16 New project! But I’m still hella behind on the precious project 😣

14.4.16 So busy this week. I’m back at uni after Easter and I didn’t quite realise how much I still need to sort out for my Final major project. So tonight I’m cleaning up a few loose ends and trying to get back on track. There’s so much to think about and I’m feeling a little daunted. I love how light is used in architecture and shafts of it using angles so I want to explore that, as well as finalise a location and really solidify my brief. I know how I want to construct my model, but it’s bout finding a place my design could actually go! Maybe I’ll have to scrap the idea of having my design set into a hillside because there are no cities I can actually design in that have large hills that I know of. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I’ll construct my own bloody hills haha. Anyway, these experimental models are helping! xxx emily

6.11.16 || water damage sooooo I had my sketchbook in a bag in a canoe And then we overturned our canoe (it was terrifying) And my sketchbook got wet And all the ink is water soluble So now we have this effect and I really like it??

9.1.16 Today I wanted to do a lot of admin, and writing down what I need to put into my student blog, which meant that I had togo through my sketchbook and make sure I wasn’t missing anything! I always fool myself into feeling productive when I make a smoothie. Today’s is strawberry, avocado, peach, chia seeds and oat milk. And plantgelina Jolie made a guest appearance on my desk. 

Ive been reading Fangirl this week and its the cutest book ever - goddammit Rainbow Rowell.

after my exams ended and my summer started, i started a new bullet journal! i’m having a lot of fun experimenting with layouts and colours and all the arty stuff that’s hard to do on top of a busy academic year ;;; if you look closely, you’ll be able see that i’ve been very busy (which would also explain my absence e heh he h ^^;) i was really inspired by @studypetals spreads as well as this post by @teacomets for my monthly layout!! so sorry for the gross lighting i have going here agh
