So I haven't watched Velma, but I've heard enough things about it to think I have some kind of point in saying one of its many flaws is that the writers seem to belong to this group of people who think being "edgy" means turning beloved characters into unlikable assholes. And I don't know how to tell you that is not how this works. Hell, Shadow the Hedgehog is edgy as all fuck and according to Doctor Eggman breaking the fourth wall in Sonic Boom, he is the second most popular character of the entire canon. Just some food for thought.

Continuing on this , if they portrayed Akane as the bicon she is, I'd be down for her being jealous of Ranma's other fiancées, but not jealous of them, but jealous of Ranma. Like, "why does he always get the cute girls?!?!"
