I keep saying the greatest achievement of Phineas & Ferb has to be, by far, that they taught an entire generation of kids all around the world how the plastic thingy in the shoelaces is called.

Everybody who watched the show knows what an aglet is!

Two years ago, my class (16-17 year-olds by then) played Taboo a few times. Every single time the word aglet appeared at least once. The moment it appeared, the whole class immediately yelled "Aglet!"

This show did that.

And I insist, what makes it even crazier is that it taught kids all over the world! Now the word aglet is known in probably as many languages as countries the show aired on!

So, let's play a game. I'm curious. Type down how you say Aglet in your language and your language. I'll start.
