Okay, but you know Hesperia is an alternative version of Gabriel because he gives off the exact same vibes but from the opposite side of the spectrum. I mean, while Gabriel's design clearly screams "Mourning Widower Barely Keeping His Shit Together", Hesperia's says "Mourning Widower Who Actually Has His Shit Together."

Hi, thanks for trying, but not really.

You see, I actually watched the scene when it leaked (I just have enough fandom manners not to spoil things for everyone), and it included the apology. But as nice as it should have been, it still left a bitter taste in my mouth.

If you read the analysis I wrote about the way they handled Lila's "confession", you'll see I included Alya's apology. The thing is, to me it fails because Alya apologised for being gullible, when at this point in time she wasn't gullible so much as she repeatedly chose to ignore Marinette's warnings and concerns.

So Marinette and Sabrina worked together to lure Lila into a false sense of security that eventually led up to her spilling everything in front of an audience she was unaware of. Now everyone knows she’s been lying about everything, she’s a horrible person, and she and Chloé are about to be expelled for good… After 7 years, the fandom finally got what it wanted.

…then why do I feel like I’ve actually wasted those 7 years of my life?
