Can we please take a moment to appreciate how, even in the middle of an incredibly distressing and horrifying ordeal as it is to see Yugo in maddening pain and losing control, Amalia's first instinct is still to protect the innocent?
She's a queen and a heroine through and through, putting her people first no matter how disadvantageous or physically taxing it can be for her.
At this point I am convinced that if Aurora were to gain the upper hand at some point during their upcoming fight, it will most likely be because she will not care about collateral damage whereas Amalia will try to hold herself back for her subjects' sake or be distracted while trying to protect them.
And if that happens and the Sadida, for some unfathomable reason, still turn their backs on their rightful queen, then ToT and I will have a word over dumbing down the cast for the sake of drama. Because the webtoon is doing nothing but prove time and time again why Amalia is the better choice.
I love Yugo's reaction to seeing Aurora again, because he is very much on guard. I'm sure that, beyond their brief interaction where she pettily corrected him on his use of Armand's title, either Amalia told him everything Aurora put her through, from trying to marry her off (and we know Yugo's not gonna take kindly to learning that), to both her and her father disrespecting her and abandoning her people to the Nécromes; or he's had to interact with her before and he isn't too fond of her either.
The marriage that shames obnoxious in-laws together, stays together.
