At the risk of sounding basic (then again, I am a basic bitch) fluff with eventual smut fics are like pumpkin spice. It might take a while to get to the spice, but when it does, it's the perfect blend of spicy and sweet you just can't get enough of.

I don't understand why people criticise media they don't like saying things like, "It felt like a fanfic." Dude, shut TF up. Fanfics it's where you go to when canon disappoints you. Fanfiction's done nothing to deserve such disrespect. You have no right to drag it through the floor like this.

Phinabella Recommendations

So, I know I asked for recommendations for fanfics and stuff, but I kinda wanna give yall recommendations too. Cuz I can. Lol

Okay, we all know that "Can't Help Falling in Love" by @authenticcadence18 is a masterpiece, right? Right. I need that kinda story telling in my life. And we all agree that this is more canon than "Act Your Age"? Yeah? Just wanted to make sure. Seriously, if you haven't read that yet, you seriously need to, it's just so very wholesome and it portrays their relationship so well. And everyone else for that matter - Ferb's such a good bro, man.

I also read "Christmas Bliss" by PianoMan5 on FanFiction recently - a very fluffy lovey-dovey Phinabella fic that I'm sure most of you have heard of. It was...absolutely adorable. Basically a story about Phineas finding out about a secret of Isabella's, prompting him to try and get her the perfect Christmas gift - full of romance, winter bugs, and sprinkled with a snobby girl (but don't worry, we don't get any drama from THAT). PianoMan5 also is writing "Frozen Reality", which is another great Phinabella fic that's ongoing - I warn you, that one DOES have drama that really hits you in the feels.

This is a personal favorite of mine that got me OBSESSED with the idea of a Soulmate AU - "Rewrite the Stars", by fangirlwriting on FanFiction, is about Phineas and Isabella falling in love with each other, even though they're not each other's soulmate. (It's very cute and so very worth it, I highly recommend this one, PLEASE, it's a story that makes me super happy)

"In Two Weeks" is a fic written by my friend defiant00, again from FanFiction. It takes during the two weeks that take place literally seconds after the events of "Act Your Age" - it does well to patch things up and give us the Phinabella content we deserved from that episode. It's also pure, unadulterated fluff - no unnecessary drama whatsoever, just warm fuzzy feelings.

Author’s Note: The inspiration came from @sallychanscraps ’s “Demon Bride” storyline, but this is my take on the events leading up to the arranged marriage and consummation, using elements from Royal elements across different historical cultures and how far we’ve come.

When he was eight, he met a girl.

His father, the Emperor, requested that his son and wife prepare themselves for a “royal visit”. He did not know what his father meant, but he saw in this mother’s face that this was a rather serious event, and his own stomach filled with dread. Apparently it was too grave an issue to discuss via letters of exchange. Better to meet face to face than to communicate via paper and unintentionally begin a huge misunderstanding.

Still, the Emperor and Empress insisted that their Shinjiro spend most of the “royal visit” in his room, playing with his toys and practicing his lettering, without explaining why. He did not disobey, but he asked his former nursemaid if they could stop as soon as they heard the trumpets blaring the royal arrival. She lifted him over the balcony, looked down at the approaching figures down the red aisle, and gasped.
