ML au: Childhood Soulmates: Weredad

-So Gigatitan attacks the bakery (it’s more or less the same from the start)

-Chat noir ends up in the exact same spot, wondering what Marinette is doing up. Was she worried about the attack? Well he will assure her everything is fine. Then he will find the pacifier for the baby.

-The ‘confession’ happens. Chat noir was shook. But not as shook as Tom. His little girl confessing to a superhero. When Adrien is already the perfect future son in law!

-Tom invites Chat noir over in canon like before, since he is a supportive father, and even if he thinks Adrien is a better match for his daughter, he should at least get to know the cat hero.

-Adrien is freaking out. He had no idea that Marinette was in love with Chat noir?! But as he thought about it, Chat noir did save Marinette a bunch of times, and he did show off around her. Curse his animal magnetism. Plagg says it’s great.

-Adrien says that he can’t exactly date a civilian as Chat noir, no matter How much he wants to. He will need to let her down gently. The last thing he wants is to break her heart.

-Adrien was bombarded by texts from Tom, asking for him to come over (probably to compete against Chat noir) Adrien tells the baker that he unfortunately is busy.

-Chat noir shows up, Tom is not as Ship happy as before.

-They start dinner and it is tense at first, Tom starts asking Chat noir questions.

-including the one about being a hero being a stable career (ie take care of Marinette)

-Chat noir nearly spits out his drink. Now he is thinking about a future with Marinette.

-“you know my daughter has another suitor.”

-Marinette turning red “papa!”

-“Adrien Agreste.”

-Tom starts gushing about how great his future son in law is and Chat noir is doing his best not to smile like a goob. He was happy Uncle Tom thought so highly of him.

-Chat noir decides to use this as a way to escape.

-“I realize I could never compete with such a wonderful person, I’m sure Adrien will be a wonderful addition to this family.”

-Marinette actually stopping him because she thought he was feeling down on himself over the lack of praise. She praises him honestly and this kind of throws both teens through a loop.

-Chat noir thinking ‘Oh s*** Marinette is super in love with me.’

-Tom is surprised by his daughter’s words, he realizes should be more supportive.

-Chat noir praising Marinette about how wonderful she is and that this only makes what he needed to say even harder. (He is fighting every fiber of his being to do this.)

-Chat noir turns her down. Saying he is in love with Ladybug. (More genuinely pained saying it)

-Marinette realizing this is her way out over reacts like in the show. (Chat noir feels awful) He was about to try and talk to her, but Tom shouts at him, telling him to leave!

-Tom witnessed his daughter pour her heart out to this cat twice! And he has the oddacity to turn his amazing little girl down?!

-Weredad happens and he is bigger and meaner.

-Chat noir coming back and same talk from Sabine, but it makes Adrien feel even guiltier about everything.

-Weredad beats the everloving crap out of Chat noir who can’t bring himself to fight Tom.

-Marinette/Ladybug save the day.

-Chat noir apologizes to Marinette, the ending pretty much the same.

-Except Adrien rushes into the bakery a minute or two after Chat noir leaves. Tom happy to see his future son in law gives him a hug.

-“So what did I miss?”

“Literally everything about Marinette Dupain-Cheng is ~ A M A Z I N G ~”
