I'm sick of pretending that these people aren't perfectly deliberate in their words,and actions,that this isn't malicious ignorance,that they don't know what they are repeating is bigotry. They know. All of them. They know,and they don't care. There was never anyone to educate because their behavior isn't based in innocent lack of knowledge. They might be uneducated idiots but they aren't unaware. You can't educate someone who has decided that no amount of facts will change their mind,that facts themselves are utterly irrelevant. And you can't educate someone who has dehumanized a group to the point the Left has dehumanized us,and no Arab,or goyim allies will ever be able to reach them either. Tens of thousands of notes from the same people who indulge their now socially acceptable bigotry at our expense. It's almost comedic how they stand around hyping up each other's supposed "righteousness", and huddle together in this difficult time while roleplaying as terrorist supporters,and cosplaying their pogrom committing ancestors.

It's just fundamentally disgusting.

What's particularly telling is how they almost completely exclude any actual news about geopolitics, about the war itself, about negotiations, etc.

When Russia launched its full scale invasion of Ukraine, I decided to learn more about Russian domestic politics and society. Why was Putin doing this? Who opposed him? How much support did he have? Would anyone in Russia stop him? What made him think he could accomplish his goal? What motivated him? Who were the major figures he relied on? How did the structure of Russia's military impact the war? Questions like that.

I did the same thing for Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran (and other ME players like Egypt and Saudi Arabia et al). Why did Hamas launch October 7? Why did they choose that date? How involved was Iran? Why would Iran support this? Who in Iran opposes arming Hamas and Hezbollah? How much power do they have? Why isn't the Lebanese government seemingly involved in the war at all? What factions are in Lebanon parliament? Why does Hezbollah have the military autonomy that it does? Where is UNIFIL? What power does UNIFIL actually have? What's their mission supposed to be? Why is the Israeli government so far-right? Why has there been only one hostage exchange? Who are the leaders of Hamas? Who leads from Gaza and who is in Doha? Why are they in Doha? Why won't Netanyahu present a post-war plan? Who makes up the Israeli cabinet? How many ministers are pro-settler? Who are they and what power do they have? How many of them oppose Netanyahu? How are Netanyahu's legal cases impacting his decisions? How does he handle US considerations? What's this I keep hearing about a Haredi draft exemption and why is it important? Why does Netanyahu keep firing this Gallant guy and why is he important?

A lot of people have zero interest in the conflict or what drives it, and you can tell because they don't actually know anything about it. They don't want to solve the conflict. They don't want to educate anyone. They don't want to change the status quo. The only history they learn, if they learn any at all, is some of the origin history from over a century ago, and they certainly don't learn it in depth; they can't tell you who Yitzhak Rabin was or what he did, but they sure can tell you who Theodor Herzl was and what he believed.

They just want to be part of a movement they feel is bigger than themselves, and they've decided that that movement is hating Jews. Actually working towards Palestinian sovereignty would be much, much more difficult and, to them, less interesting. I mean, they generally all do care about the cause very strongly- they are extremely emotionally invested. Emotions are pretty much the only thing they've invested in the conflict and they sure do act like it.
