Honestly, I'm just sick of heroes getting crucified and Villians having excuses made for them.

It's honestly almost as bad as people who blame Tony Stark for the actions of Stane (his abusive father figure). Killian (the guy commits Terrroism because Tony was rude) or Quentin beck. (The guy murders children ffs)

This Chloe Stan nonsense is just another link in the chain of people who think being mean makes a character interesting or thinks Marinette not having abusive parents makes her unrelatable. (Honestly that take can fuck off)

Not every character has to be an edgy batman clone.

You can tell Iron Man and Batman are works of fiction because the billionaires want to try and help people.

Then I discover that people unironically claim Tony was the one too kill Uncle ben in order to groom Peter.

Tropes that need to Retire.

The Villans excuse.

Motivation is what makes people do what they do.

Why do you work? Money.

Why do you wash in the morning? Because being dirty is unpleasant.

Lately however I've seen more and more people focus too much on a villans motivation rather then their actions and the harm they cause.

People in the Miraculous fandom seem to care much more about Felix's motivation for selling the Miraculous to Gabriel, and completly downplay, or ignore the harm and Truama its caused people Marinette in particular.

This also bothers me with the Marvel fandom, Iron man tries his best to help out, yet people still blame him for Vulture and Mysterio.

These men both caused violence and destruction for their own selfish desires any grudge they had against Tony, is irrelevant once they decided to hurt people.

I'm not saying don't give Villans backstorys or reasons for what they do. But can we stop acting like getting fired or losing a loved one, makes terrorism and child murder ok?!

Iron man rolled his eyes at the other man.

“That’s your plan? That will cause the entire cave to collapse!”

“Yes.” Batman replied. “You’ll have one hour to evacuate the others. Then this portal will collapse and the city will be safe.”

“Ok bat breath lets go.” Iron man went to take Batman’s arm but he dodged away.

“No. I’m staying. I’m ensuring this bomb goes off. I’ll stop any demon that gets though. You’re faster than me, you can save more people.”

“ARE YOU INSANE!?” Iron man yelled. “I’m not that fast! I won’t be able to save you too!”

“Then get moving! Don’t pretend you have any love for me! You hate me!”

“I’m a lot of things Bruce.” Tony said, tears forming behind the helmet. “But I’m no hypocrite. I can’t hate you anymore than I hate myself.”

Batman chuckled, and smiled. “Tony. You do hate yourself.”

“Nonsense. I love myself.” Tony lied “I think I’m hilarious, and You’re not going to die!”

It’s been almost Three years. and it still breaks my heart. 

The MCU just isn’t the same without him.
