What was Felix like in the Miraculous PV? Was He Better, Worse or The Exact Same as He is in the show?
I don't know.
You know why? The PV was never made. So PV Felix isn't a character he's a concept.
But I doubt he would have been an abusive, racist, backstabbing, sexually inappropriate bastard.

There's art of PV Felix using his bad luck ring powers to hit Marinette with an apple on her head, so psyhically harming a girl was def no beyond him.
There's a difference between a cruel prank and sexual assault.
There's plenty of people who think humiliating people is funny but draw the line at causing serious harm physically.
PV Felix might have been a cold-hearted prick but there's nothing to imply he was a sex pest.
Why tf are people comparing PV Felix (an older teen from the art style we see, who was trying to get rid of a CURSED RING by any means he believed were fair, and while he was trying to trick ladybug into falling in love with him that's the thing. He needed the true loves kiss or some bullshut from a superhero who was completely uninterested in even talking to him he wasn't ever planning to force her.) to the current Felix (a probably even younger boy of around 16 ie even more stupid, who spent his screentime assaulting a young girl, manipulating and stealing .)
Also PV Felix just wanted to be left alone this one has basically trying to get the world to burn while moving towards his own goals

What people forget is PV Felix was a prototype for Adrien not Felix.
And yeah PV Felix was just the stereotypical dark, brooding loner type of character. I'm pretty sure if he was around in canon and got akumatized he would have told Hawkmoth to get lost.

Tbh we have no idea if PV Felix wouldn't eventually assault Ladybug just to get that ring off him, the PV never aired for us to draw conclusions on how far he'd be willing to go. But Astruc said that he dropped him as a protagonist cause he was too evil and dark, so there's no reason to believe he'd be any better than canon Felix.
We don't have any evidence he would either.
And you're right the PV gave us nothing to see his limits, but I'd like to believe they wouldn't make the male lead for their show a rap*st.
I think Astruc just said he was sick of the "I can fix him." Attitude that's a staple in romance aimed at girls because he thinks it's overdone and toxic. Which I agree on.

Can I just say I hate how Socqueline looks like an older Marinette,even down to the pigtails. Like they could’ve given her a different hair color or hairstyle.
Also about the ship between her and Felix,it’s stupid to ship them just because ‘they’re the original concepts’ bc Felix is not PV felix(even though they kind of share the same asshole personality).
I'm pretty sure it's a wig or hair dye to look like Ladybug. A lot of girls style themselves after celebrities they like, you really think they wouldn't copy a superhero?

PV Felix might have been cold and selfish, his motivation was to get Ladybug to kiss him so his curse would be broken. But the fact he was trying to seduce her clearly meant he wanted it to be consensual.
Felix sexually assaulted Marinette. So he's way worse.

To be fair, I'm sure that would have been his original motivation, but over time he would have grown to genuinely love Ladybug.

Plus I really hate the "I can fix him." Attitude that is a common thing with love interests aimed at women. PV Felix was rude and dismissive of PV Marinette and that's meant to be interesting? no thanks.

It is never your job to "Fix" your partner, if they make the decision to become a better person and you want to support that, sure. but don't put up with a person who is only nice to you because they want a kiss or something more mature.
That's not nice, that's being a complete wanker. It's ok to cut ties with somebody if they treat others in a way you find distasteful.
Do you think pv! Felix would have been a better cat noir than Adrien? I personally disagree with this claim. Especially after people making takes that Felix should have gotten the cat miraculous in kuro neko which makes zero sense.

Adrien's motivation at first was "Sweet! Being a hero is going to be awesome! I get to do what I want for a change, and I can save the world! I can't wait!" he never expected to fall in love.
Plus while he's pushy and should really tone down the flirty kitty act (Which he does after Glacitor 2 but you know why let facts alter my opinion.) His feelings for Ladybug are genuine and he loves her for the adorable, neurotic dork she is.
