Invincible fan logic.

Amber: Hey, so.. I let my emotions get the better of me. Sorry about that. But in my defence you DID lie to me and I'm a 17 year old woman. Not to sound sexist but 17 year old women are naive and stupid. Let's try to understand eachother better and talk like adults from now on.

Fandom: *Incoherent rage and demands for her to be killed or abused.* Anissa: Hey, I'm a member of a fascist and genocidal race that will murder trillions if a college student doesn't do what I say. Also in the comic's I actually raped the main character.

I've never understood why people have this idea that you have to side with someone just because they're the same (Insert detail here) As you.

And you can't say the hate for Amber wasn't overblown and racist. Do I think she's a paragon of virtue? No. but then again, find me a 17-year-old girl who isn't selfish and short-sighted at times. Same with Mark, 17-year-old boys are fucking stupid. I know... I was one.

Amber Bennet. She is nowhere near as bad as people say she is.

Probably Atom Eve. Everyone says how she's going to "Save" MArk from Amber and I've swiftly grown to dislike her because of this.

So I finally watched Invincible after a year. 

I really have to say, I liked it. 

But Damn! Amber was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting!

Like honestly, She was a bit irrational and bitchy but nothing that warranted so much hate!

Female characters really are held to impossible standards.
