It's funny that you mentioned the Dragon Age series in one of your previous posts. The Dragon Age fandom has a similar problem to the Chloe fans, and that problem is the Templar fans, who actually make a similar argument: supposedly, because the Chantry technically makes things worse for both Templars and Mages, the mages OWE the templars unity and should stop raising grievances, so both groups can "unite against the abusers". That's the same argument Chloe fans make against Marinette or Zoe.
Yeah, I've always hated that argument.
Here's the thing, Most Templars Choose to be what they are. Mages don't.
And the Templars are essentially police, who beat, r*pe, and oppress everything that's different from them for the sake of political power.
But they dress it up with "But the maker says."
The Chantry does indeed make things worse for Templars. But you can't complain about the print of a contract YOU signed.
