Buffy the Vampire Slayer → It’s terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Carrie Fisher behind the scenes of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
“Carrie was very funny and kept everyone entertained. She was able to boss those guys around without looking silly. That was an important part of her character, that she was the boss. And she was also shorter than everybody else, but she handled that great.” - George Lucas
Rare Photos of Black Rosie the Riveters
During World War II, 600,000 African-American women entered the wartime workforce. Previously, black women’s work in the United States was largely limited to domestic service and agricultural work, and wartime industries meant new and better-paying opportunities – if they made it through the hiring process, that is. White women were the targets of the U.S. government’s propaganda efforts, as embodied in the lasting and lauded image of Rosie the Riveter.Though largely ignored in America’s popular history of World War II, black women’s important contributions in World War II factories, which weren’t always so welcoming, are stunningly captured in these comparably rare snapshots of black Rosie the Riveters.
I look at other people my age in this industry, other famous people my age, and they’ve just got famous friends. Which is cool, but I love being normal and just chilling at mine.

Family is not defined by the blood in your veins but by the love in your heart.
“Yennefer is in a constant battle with herself. She had a really tragic childhood. The face of frustration, rage, confusion. She was born with a deformed spine, and a jaw abnormality, and because of that, her father resented her a lot. That moment set up the whole of Yennefer’s journey. That then became her life. However, she is never satisfied. Always striving for something else. She owns her sexuality and uses it to manipulate people and get what she wants. She presents a certain version of herself. Someone who is direct and in control. Dangerous. The arc that she goes through is an incredible challenge. She longs for this connection, but that fear, that insecurity, feeds this chaos with this magic that makes her incredibly powerful. She’s epic.” Anya Chalotra
