TRICK OR TREAT! Mind giving me some sweets?
Dunno if this is something you've been asked before but how does our favorite post apocalyptic beanboy and his most excellent gal celebrate Halloween in the Commonwealth?
It's been a long time since we talked about this in detail (probably in 2014-15?) but I think we established that many traditional American holidays were lost in the Great War (people were more concerned with surviving, obviously). A lot of these celebrations were kept alive by Vault residents however. Buttons does his best to inspire his fellow Arefu settlers to celebrate Halloween to some extent and Meg plays along, even if it makes no sense to her. The budget Brahmin has to be my favorite Halloween post so I did a quick redraw:
Buttons had a couple other Halloween costumes since 2014:

Hey hope your doing alright and okay, so since were within the spooky mouth. Is there a chance you could do Buttons in a funny inappropriate costume, like he's going to a Halloween party except it isn't even close Halloween yet.
I’m doing well, thanks! Just... very low energy and focusing on work + making money so that I can pay more taxes than the US president we can get on with our home improvement projects and get closer to adopting a dog at some point. Sorry for not posting daily!

I’m gonna have to beep out all these words because we don’t want the b0ts swarming us. (Although I’m sure they will still come around.) Ok, to catch up: Buttons’ past inappropriate Halloween costumes include 1. slightly th1rsty skeleton punk? kind of a basic b1tch design 2. slvtty molerat 3. s3xy cat 4. pr0miscu0us IKEA bag (can’t find this post but it exists) 5. hotdog. Not slvtty but inappropriate for the event.

I had always wanted to draw galoogamelady’s OC Buttons as a werewolf. I didn’t know when I’d ever get started, then I remembered Halloween was coming, so I figured now was as good a time. I wanted to have it done for Halloween so I rushed to finish it please don’t hold it against me. I hope you like it!

Other stuff I got today: I tried something new with my Alloween print and it turned out really fancy! As with the new charms, these will be available in my store later this week. (Only made 5 of these holo ones as a test so... yeah, very limited numbers for now.)

I had a dream about GTA Buttons at a Halloween party but somebody didn’t show up, probably Randy, and Meg sent Buttons out to gang hideouts disguised as a trick or treater to see if he can find Randy but Buttons’ would keep getting scared of the jack o lanterns and would attack them blowing his cover.
He spends every Halloween night putting mattresses beside every single cow in the city so that kids can’t cow tip as a Halloween prank.
Buttons just discovered his big secret…
…which no one has to know about if he just comes along quietly and peacefully <__<
btw why cow tipping? I’ve never made the connection between cow-tipping and Halloween. Randy got weird priorities.

Fun fact: I dressed up as a cat for one Farsang in kindergarten. It would’ve been a great experience if my mask wasn’t itchy and the other kids weren’t constantly tugging on my tail. :(Based on my experience, Buttons’ tail will get torn off by the end of the night and he’ll have to walk home with half of his ass out. (That didn’t happen to me but I like to exaggerate.)
