Weeks? It has been a bit over a week since I posted it! :D You'll see him more though, he's my guinea pig for learning the process. Retopo is close to done, he just needs a mouthbag and his back+tail spikes plucked off (decided they should be separate objects, because I don't like the rounded look they have with subdiv, boo hoo) I learned a lot already, mostly from Cam.
Once he's watertight, I'll venture into the magical world of ✨alpha sculpting✨

In all honesty, I should really be working on a new video but I've been in a big nasty art block for like a year now (Tom's been very understanding :'O ). My commissioners/patrons are definitely feeling this too. And my bank account ahaha :') Someone kick my ass!!!!

I found this pair of Hollóházi porcelain deers online that I can't afford so I made them in 3D instead. This was a modeling/rigging/texturing exercise Cam helped me with. (Here's a different listing where his antlers are intact)
Ceaselessly watching the 3D model of Buttons' face rapidly making various cartoon expressions like he's a bystander in a mobile game ad reacting to some heinous situation.

Some WIPs, unused stuff and production art for Red Flags
The 3D assets were modeled by @cameronaugust, I just did the texture paint on the Centipede house (hey, it only had to look good from that one angle!)
RatCready, my beloved... @cameronaugust mentored me in every step of this little project but the rigging was done entirely by him. I learned a lot!
don't have to learn how to sculpt properly if you just give up halfway and lazily paint over it in Photoshop instead
I've done a very basic Blender tutorial months ago but I never tried sculpting. This lil Argonian head was one of my first attempts and of course I immediately wanted to try the grease pencil with it. Bonus weird variant:

initial sketch is done for my attack on @galoogamelady but i want to make sure the perspective and stuff is right so i’m making 3d models of the characters to use as reference. how’s tee-markus looking? XD (don’t mind the finger guns, i just imported those from another reference i made and have yet to re-pose them)
Oooooh that is so cool!! Honestly, this counts as an attack in itself to me :D And I love his finger guns! He looks like he told a joke but no one laughed and now he’s all defeated.
