A personal project adapting my favorite Jane Austen book. This book is a huge influence on me and I remeber watching the 2005 movie and the mini series when I was really young and barely knew English. Even with only three weeks to do it, I’m glad to have done and finished it.

I love this line. This entire Pure Purgatory sequence is Destiel heaven. But this is just epic. Here its Dean being pure and aggressive in his desire. Dean rarely express his desire and more rarely goes for it. But here in this cut throat reality he is not a soldier of a son, he is not a responsible brother, and not just a hunter. Here in purgatory he is Dean. And there is only one thing he needs. Its that one being that he cut and bleed for. He was a killing machine in a land of monster. With just one request on his stained lips. Where is the Angel? Here its explicit that he doesn’t need Cas for some help or as a tool for Sam. He wants Cas. Simple. Pure. There are two most amazing things here. One is that Dean is ready to kill himself for Cas. And secondly more importantly he is ready to sacrifice Benny for the sake of getting Cas back home with him. Till this moment Dean does not care or trust Benny that much. Only after he sees Benny save Cas does Dean trust Benny completely. I’m not trying to take anything away from Dean Benny friendship. But what’s important is that Dean started trusting Benny after Cas. So always remember that Dean was ready to kill himself rather than live in a world without Cas.

I want to add y’all should remember how Dean always said he liked Purgatory, how it was “pure”. It was simple. Topside, Dean feels the burden of being responsible for everyone on top of having to kill monsters and occasionally save the world. In Purgatory, he fended only for himself. And he had one goal: Cas. That’s it.

Always remember Dean, for a while, longed to be back there, with only 2 things to care about. His life and being with Cas. That’s Dean at its purest, simplest. And he missed that.
