Hey, thanks for the ask! No need to be nervous! ❤️

Wren's mother, Jonna, was also a victim of Nathaniel's abuse, and ended up running away from him when Wren was 3. She wanted to take him with her, but Nathaniel wouldn't let her, and then threatened that he'd accuse her of kidnapping Wren if she tried to come back for him. She was forced to stay out of Wren's life ever since.
