literally actually obsessed with the freedom chu shuzhi gives guo changcheng over his body. this is a man who every square centimeter radiates “I will break your nose off your face if you breathe on me” and yet xiao guo gets free rein. I want all of it. I want changcheng taking shuzhi’s hand to fiddle with it when he’s nervous. I want him throwing his legs over shuzhi’s on the SID couch. I want changcheng riding around on chu-ge’s shoulders to reach high shelves as an every day activity

And can you imagine the new interns at the SID?  They must all be terrified of Chu Shuzhi, because, let’s face it, he’s intimidating as all get out when he wants to be and… he almost always wants to be.  And before they really understand how things work at the SID, they see Changcheng just… drape his legs over Chu Shuzhi’s on the couch.  And they all gasp in a collective breath because SURELY Lao Chu is going to break him like a twig for even daring to get within 10 feet, right?  Only… he doesn’t.  If anything, he just… does this thing with his face that could almost be called a smile.  And just LEAVES THEM THERE.  The SID interns are in awe of Changcheng from that day forward.

So I’ve been thinking about post-canon Chu Shuzhi intimidating the interns and such but there is a not insubstantial part of me that wonders if he doesn’t just treat all the juniors like his baby ducklings. Xiao Guo has Awoken Something In Him that makes him want to protect all of the small children. They are his babies now.

He catches an intern crying in the corner because they’re dealing with something that is bad and they’re handling it poorly but it’s a problem that can reasonably be solved and Lao Chu is just like “What the FUCK, why didn’t you SAY SOMETHING” in a kind of terrifying way that maybe makes the intern cry harder, and then he sweeps out of the room and just goes and finds a way for them to solve the problem. I don’t think he just fixes things, but he provides them a means to do it themselves. Just in a very scary way.

Changcheng is still the only one who can just drape himself over Chu Shuzhi, though.
