Cryptid man.
It's kinda wild how in season one of Arcane Silco held a meeting with the chem barons and utilized the noxious gas of the underground as a way to remind them of what the underground used to be like while saying that the barons have grown fat and complacent and that is why he keeps fighting, and then in season 2 Caitlyn and her strike team unleash copious amounts of toxic gas on the undercity in basically what is an attempt to force them into complacency for the appeasment of topside. I hadn't watched season 1 in a while, so i had completely forgotten about it, but it really tickles my brain considering that Jinx is the one to have given topside a taste of their own medicine by redirecting the gas upwards.
I'm still thinking about the kiramman tape that says "the underground deserves to breath" and, while ultimately protecting zaun from the grey by constructing vents is a good deed, it was a bandage solution on a problem piltover caused so it was kinda the bare minimum, and how caitlyn learned of this, and her immediate idea was to take the bandage away. This isn't a coherent thought, but I just think it's fascinating how detached Piltover is from the affects of what they do, which leads to further apathy towards the people of Zaun and their constant plight. I feel like it goes hand in hand with what Ekko said to Jayce when he learned the base of that huge hextech structure was built next to Zaun's infrastructure, which ultimately led to the further poisoning of the underground via the waterways. I would love to see more about this in the coming episodes
Hades 2 is a great game because Supergiant made me so attached to Zagreus and the whole Chthonic family in the first game that I understand Hades' morose, depressed nature in the second game at a fundamentally concerning level
If you are trans I need you to stay alive.
Stay alive for every other trans person fighting, stay alive for every trans person who is no longer here, and most importantly stay alive for yourself.
They don’t get to erase us! They don’t get to take away our rights, and treat us as less than human. Don’t let them erase us, and don’t let them make you a statistic. Don’t let them win.
Stay alive
If you won’t do it for yourself, then do it for others. Do it out of spite.
I'm certain this is on Tumblr somewhere, but I haven't seen it around, so I'm sharing it myself
Everyone in Wild Life session 3: maybe if i get far away or high up, then i can evade the danger
The nefarious snails:
Which is such a shame for the most part because i feel like he always has to pull on the breaks for some reason or another before we get to see it all the way through, but i yearn for him to go full speed ahead
^^^ this is so real, i was thinking about this same thing earlier. i think part of why he keeps running back similar plot points is because he never gets to see any of them through to the end or at least not in a fully satisfying way. i can't lie, i'm a little less excited by possible villain arcs at this point because we've had so many go part way. i'm super grateful that ros at least seems very on board to cook something up with him and we know he's been talking with people behind the scenes so hopefully everything works out this time!
(unrelated but also i love your art!! you have such a cool style!)
Yeah 😔 unfortunately he's very unlucky when it comes to finishing these arcs ngl. Like it doesnt even matter what smp he is in, but whether it be people not vibing with the plot, the smp losing steam, or some other thing, he tends to lose the energy for going through with it which is a damn right shame. But ros being on board with the story kinda gives me a bit more hope than usual for more. That or we all have to collectively and psychically share our thoughts with him on how much we like it when he does darker stuff
(Also thank you! I'm ngl i was fighting for my life on how to draw the rats and i think im now in a position i like)
have this mspaint painting thats part of a project
I think i end up gravitating towards the way tubbo tells stories because i, too, look at any given premise and think to myself "but what if i could subject myself and others to the horrors." Which is such a shame for the most part because i feel like he always has to pull on the breaks for some reason or another before we get to see it all the way through, but i yearn for him to go full speed ahead
the people hated him for being silly and also the murders
The beauty of the rattic is that there are diverse ways to become an outcast from rat society, like eating garbage or sacrificing your fellow rat to other worldly beings in your secret murder basement, and also the cannibalism
Rats smp is prime for silliness just on the premise of sentient rats living borrower-style in paris, but i have to respect tubbo's immediate instinct to turn this into watership down
