oh, you should have seen the conversation that was given to the Zoroark after. Oh, to have the ability to understand Pokémon, because the first half was just snarls and zoroark sounds, since one of the other people there had a zoroark who was PISSED about that behavior...
Apparently the zoroark that tormented Dokutaro had been like this for a long time and no matter what their trainer tried, the Zoroark just would not stop being a jerk to people. Yeah, uh, that other zoroark set them straight REAL fuckin' quick, holy shit. The other Zoroark's trainer was there watching and she was just like "Yeah no I'm not gonna get between them, no thank youuuuu-"
And then after the first zoroark got scolded, the Zoroark that DID the scolding proceeded to cast up an illusion that looks a lot like his trainer but still unique enough to be his own person and went "and this is why I'm glad you're my trainer, you'd give me the world but you'll call me on my bullshit" and it was just kinda wholesome to see bc he was clearly so happy about this??? And then his trainer just kinda chuckled and went "I'm always gonna be proud of you" and I just???

That does sound wholesome! I love it when pokemon and trainers finally connect. Its...part of the reason why I enjoy doing what I do. That moment a trainer and a pokemon both understand eachother, its...honestly an amazing moment.

And can we please not iterate the fact that Doku is by shit pissed now. It’s a tearjerker to me as well. Now that I think about it, this thing actually reminds me of how I was.
Used to be a jerk, believe it or not. I tricked Kirby and got my butt kicked, on the double. I tricked him into summoning the Galactic Nova, and.. well, after the arsekicking session by Kirby, I was ashamed to return to Popstar after I recovered. Left my ball n’ all.
