I know I’m supposed to continue with the hoodievengers BUT! I was talking to a friend about these comics and we both convened that Bucky and Clint are unable to plan. This drawing is the result of that conversation and I just had to share.
Steve: Here...I told you. The world only needs one Captain America. And if I learned a damn thing today...for this world...Bucky, that's you. Bucky: Oh, Steve, come on... Steve: Do I have to pull rank?
Siege #4
Namor: Hmmph. I hope you aren't too injured to walk, Barnes...because none of us will be carrying you anymore. Bucky's Narration: That was as close as Namor ever got to a compliment...and it meant the world to me.
Captain America & Bucky #622
Steve: You see anything, Namor? Namor: No. But if my betraying kinsmen are here, they'll know the vengeance of their ruler. Bucky: Here comes the imperious rex. Namor: I heard that, Barnes. If sarcasm were a super-power, perhaps you'd carry your weight among us. Thomas: Ouch.
Captain America & Bucky #622
Logan: You okay down there? Bucky: Yeah. Logan: Anything I can do to help, kid? Bucky: Yeah. You can stop calling me “kid.” Logan: But that’s how I remember ya. As a kid. — From Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America #1 by Jeph Loeb, art by Leinil Yu
New Avengers: The Reunion #1
“What’s his adult name?” will never not crack me up.
Also, way to blow someone else’s not-exactly-the-best-kept-secret identity, Clint.
[Captain America v5 #50]
Superhero birthdays might actually be my most favorite thing in the world.
Look at his face on the first page. Look at it right now. And then we have Natasha dragging him to the dance floor (she is a dancer after all).
He doesn’t have to make a wish because this is probably his greatest wish.
After a sea of terrible birthdays, he gets to have one with all of his friends and with a woman who is his best friend and also the love of his life.
Yes, Natasha, he does love it.

More adorable Bucky! I really can’t handle all his preciousness.
Fear Itself #7.1
Bucky lives!
Bucky Barnes was the best brother-in-arms any soldier ever had. He was braver than me, because he didn't have any serum making him stronger and faster.. But he never hesitated. Never faltered. He always thought he had to live up to my expectations... To the symbols I represented. But I don't think I could've done it without him. And I was never prouder than when I saw him puck up that shield.. to carry on in my place...
