Perhaps the human even squeezes their bulging tum with two fingers to emphasize their point as they talk about how ripe and firm they’d be to bite into, packed full of delicious filling like an oversized truffle, and this makes the tiny even more scared.

Here’s a tidbit: 

The fruit tinies at Plantboy Farms tend to be shipped out in boxes of 12 once their bellies have grown so much that they can’t move. They’re sent by ground mail just like regular fruit, so they have to deal with all of their round, tight bellies being pressed together and jostled constantly, especially when there’s a bump in the road. Many of them cry because they’re hungry (boxes are dark!) and don’t like having their tums squeezed so tight, and they don’t even know what’s in store for them…. In tiny stores, it’s typical for giants to squeeze and poke their ripe little guts to make sure that they’re full!

Poor little guy! Imagine the tiny under a light and the timer to turn it off for 12 hours is broken, so they keep growing bigger and bigger. The achy, sick, humongously bloated plant tiny tries to drag their gut out of the light, but it’s so swollen and large that they can’t possibly move it, leaving them to squirm and cry as they gradually expand, silently praying that their keeper will come and rescue them soon...

I’ve never actually thought about this! 

They probably don’t get to take him home or have anyone who isn’t qualified handle them bc he is a part of a study, but I love the ideas of bending the rules a little bit for the sake of that last prompt - while his cardiovascular system is pretty healthy, it’s hard work moving so much fat!! The little guy can’t run very far at all and much prefers to be sedentary, so he’d definitely have a hard time escaping from a curious/playful (or maybe hungry…) cat. I love the concept of poor marshmallow pushing himself as hard as he can to get away, weeping with fear, panting, but his tum is simply too heavy after all the fat he gained that month and he eventually collapses to the ground, resting atop his belly and trembling in terror. 

Idk whether the cat becomes a friend or foe…. I love the idea of her becoming his ‘pet’ and letting him ride around on her back. Maybe she kneads his belly and licks some stray food out of his hair!

Oh SHIT it’d be so big! Maybe it’s caterpillar boy once he turns into a fully fledged butterfairy!! Panting softly, desperately struggling to lift his enormous tum off of the ground but failing miserably.... his little wings aren’t strong enough to support such a huge weight, but he keeps trying, stopping and sitting on the ground to catch his breath every minute or so before trying again. Ultimately he’d just have to resign himself to staying there until it digests, which could take days...

Awww!!! Maybe it’s a big popcorn bowl, so he just swims around in it with his mouth wide open, shoveling more and more into his steadily expanding belly. The little guy would inflate like a water balloon attached to a faucet...

imagine the tiny hauling around such a full, heavy tum, the egg pulling on their spine because of how heavy it is - they’re quite pleased with themselves and maybe even a little proud for fitting such a big object inside of them! but then their tum starts hurting, getting more and more achy as it protests what’s been stuffed into it,because it can’t digest the shell. once it finally does after eight hours of the tiny lying down and moaning as they rub the egg shaped swell of their tum, such an overload of protein wreaks havoc on the tiny’s insides, making them gurgly and queasy, unable to do anything but whimper and wait for it to stop.

YESSSSS i dig this trope and tbh i plan on including it a lot more in upcoming fics, i just absolutely love full tums getting squeezed from every angle. being crammed in even tighter is good as well.... any thoughts as to what the tinies should get stuck in?

not in his default verse, although i’d imagine he could swallow something pretty big compared to what one would expect from a little critter his size - i.e. a whole nerd in a realistic-ish verse. however i really like the idea of him being involved in vore in which he eats something and doesn’t understand why his belly is moving (and maybe it jiggles a little as the prey is squirming around inside? he doesn’t have a lot of subcutaneous fat but it’s enough for a little bit of an effect.... most of the calories are consolidated in a big baseball sized blob of visceral fat deep in his tum once he’s really started to fatten up). maybe he also pokes it to see if the prey will react, because he’s a very curious lil fellow.

OR MAYBE because he doesn’t understand that there’s something alive in there (the prey was a sedated plant tiny maybe?) when the prey wakes up and starts struggling to get out he thinks something’s horribly horribly wrong with his tummy and starts crying and panicking, slapping his palms against the glass of his enclosure to get the researchers’ attention. he has to be comforted and shown that it’s alright and that nothing’s wrong with him, but that’s difficult given the language barrier.

alternatively maybe he likes having prey move around inside of him because he likes having his tum played with and it kind of feels like a massage from the inside

also speaking of eating big things whole, at some point maybe the researchers give him a hard boiled egg to play with (so he can figure out how to crack open the shell and pick it away).... but when they come back there’s a big egg shaped bulge in his belly because he pretty much immediately ate it

i love restraints/tums being squeezed as more food is added to them/greedy tinies being caught and punished for stealing food and this incorporates all of those things

i love imagining their tum like, starting to bulge out unnaturally on either side of the tape as their stomach gets squeezed into an unnatural shape because of the pressure and the bottleneck there, and them not really being able to digest anything because their poor, swollen little tum is so compressed

the tiny cries and cries and tries to squirm to get out, but they’re way too small to break the duct tape and they’re encumbered by their enormous tum full of stolen food (which they’re seriously regretting taking). they’re reduced to tearily begging the human to let them go, frantically apologizing and promising to never ever take anything again, but of course the human doesn’t understand them and keeps punishing them, maybe jabbing a finger into their belly every now and then and taunting them to drive in the point.

oh my god that’s such a good idea

maybe he decides that the m&ms are waaay better than his normal food, so he just sits down in the bedding right in front of the opening of the m&m dispenser and rolls the knob over and over, stuffing himself with the m&ms with no recognition of the fact that his tum is slowly growing bigger and bigger as it fills up with chocolate. all he caares about is the reward that he keeps getting for turning that knob! eventually his belly grows so much that he’s weighed down to the spot, but he doesn’t realize that, either. eventually the dispenser runs out, but by the time it does, his tum is HUGE. imagine the giant’s surprise when they come back and find that their slender new pet has gotten hugely fat and round over the course of a few hours!!

the mouse tiny tries to move and go nap it off, but ofc he can’t, so instead he just falls asleep on the spot, sitting up and maybe resting his head on his soft tum

the tiny initially being delighted with their treat and loudly chewing and smackin until they start to feel full and begin slowing down, bc after all caramel is very dense.... but then their human keeper starts urging them on and they realize that they don’t have a choice and have to keep eating it. the excited open mouth chewing turns laborious and slow, with the tiny miserably swallowing down bite after bite and feeling their poor tummy stretch every time they do. their mouth feels too sweet and sticky but they have no choice but to keep eating, and any time they slow down the human painfully jams a finger right into the center of their round, gooey belly and makes it bulge out at the sides, holding its shape for a bit until it veeery slowly but still visibly returning to its ripe, round form as the big indent of their bellybutton fills back out.

also the caramel or taffy being sickeningly sweet, and the tiny feeling super gross from all of that sugar

oh shit i love the idea of a tiny being cuddled and the human obliviously squishing their overfull tum

also intentional belly torture.... i love the idea of the human in this fic deciding to torture his tum to ‘teach him a lesson’ after he eats all of her pretzels.... maybe after the initial chapter where she squeezes/hurts his already full tum, she starts stuffing him and won’t let him stop eating even once he’s painfully full, telling him that if he’s so hungry she’d love to give him more food, mocking him by saying not to spoil his appetite, flicking his hugely stretched tum and making him cry

he understands that he’s being punished but he doesn’t speak any human language and is very confused by all of this, and very afraid

i’m not sure what she would give him to upset his tum though, maybe a ton of dry rice that’d slowly expand in his stomach? i’m open to suggestions!

even one of those peppermints would make a tiny’s stomach stretch quite a bit, too - to the point of discomfort. i’m imagining the tiny crying and squirming as the human pushes another whole mint into its mouth and then shoves it down their throat, which the ‘giant’ then rubs and strokes to help push such a big mass through them.... it clacks when it enters their stomach and they whimper but can’t move out of the way because they’re much too heavy

when the candies do start to digest it’s pretty much synchronized because they were all eaten whole, and because those are candies you’re supposed to let slowly melt in your mouth, they dissolve and fill his huge tum with thick pepperminty liquid in about an hour

consider this bonus scenario: the tiny’s hungry so they eagerly accept a whole bottle cap full of seeds, not realizing that the seeds will expand in water. they feel fine, but then they get force-fed water with no warning. they think they’re in the clear once it’s over, but then their tum starts swelling and getting weird and has the consistency of being full of goo... bc it basically is

it’d be a good way to make sure they stay in place! they’d be too heavy and full of water to move, plus their tums would grow a lot if they were kept under the right conditions for a while....

maybe they all curl up and sleep in the same hollow or burrow, so their goal is to make the one tiny’s belly so fat that everyone else can snugly fit between it and the walls of the hollow, and because it’s so squishy, it can sort of shape itself around them and keep them nice and warm. alternatively they can sleep on their belly like a big soft bed 

they all have to help nutmeg waddle into the hollow and push him in because his belly’s almost too fat to fit inside by the time they’re done feeding him, but he’s very cozy once he’s inside, and his tum is a fantastic insulator for the other tinies to cuddle against and nestle into
